Great insights on the WK-GTR! Personally, I feel that even if they start putting full 35ah batteries in these, it's not even close to enough considering how much power these beasts can draw. I'd personally rather see them ditch the swappable battery system and use that extra space for a larger built-in unit, somewhere around the 45ah mark. I can't really see much value in being able to remove the battery easily, other than just showing it off to people (cool?) and I'd rather see that space get stuffed with more capacity. Side note: I have to say, Andrew, I really like this format of video where you're just speaking candidly while riding. I think it really works well and adds a bit of spontaneity to the whole thing, very nicely done.

Hello! I own a Nami Burn E 2 Max late 2022. I have driven 8000km with it. I drive between 25 and 40mph on average with some excesses in acceleration. My range is around 37miles and I weigh 220lbs without my equipment. The battery has 32A, versus 35 for the GTR. I know the GTR is heavier, but do you think I can get as much range with the GTR as the Nami?
As a '23 Apollo Phantom owner, I've been in love with the regen braking since I got it. I'm installing hydraulics to replace the standard disc brakes on it (high-speed emergency braking not good with regen, but regen perfect for everything else). I'm curious as to why more brands don't use regen or at least adopt their own version. I know I'm not getting much charge back using regen, but at least it's something. Claims are up to 10%. I wager anything 5% or more is worth the investment/tech.
@@freshlycharged That's good to know - I have mine maxed, I mean it's brakes, why not, better to have the regen braking & not need it. I'd love to see the math on how effective it is. I leave my braking a lot later & it feels good to not be wearing something down when I brake.
It’s better to coast than to try to grab battery back as it’s very inefficient so having regen on the separate throttle is great. Same for an electric car better to coast and what I mean is having the auto set up so that when you let up on the pedal it goes right to regen is wasting kinetic energy to just grab 10% to 30% efficiency where the loss is in converting and then charging loss…your not coasting unless (in the car) you press the accelerator down a bit same with regen on scooter that is devoid of a regen switch (on brake) or separate throttle such as the apollo.
@@gritred5500 Correct. I don't mind the regen based on throttle in a Tesla & other EVs, but for a scooter, I agree the separate thumb lever is best. I do wonder, regardless of regen, if motor-braking is putting undue wear on the motors.
I was not in an accident, but motor wheel power slowly has been fading, from one motor down then to both. There is no longer any power to either motor now. I'm assuming that the problem is the controller. I rode the GTR in heavy rain. Is the controller shorted? I opened up the front motor and looked at magnets, there is mild water buildup (a little rust film), but it looked healthy in there otherwise I thought. What else could it be? How can I diagnose? I'm hoping that it's simply the controller that needs replacing - like you had mentioned in this video. Cool video!
Found out by accident if you end up in deep mud turn left then right repeatedly and the GTR will pull you out with no problem. I think I was on level 3 full throttle. Both tires threw mud over my head but i didn't have to step off the scooter.
Love the message, love the videos. But sooner than later it will not be the fastest, not the longest lasting. But not bad.. I love the way your review went into the build more than usual.
Thanks for the support, I love making these types of videos. There are scooters with higher craftmanship but it is the best offroading scooter I have reviewed. Plus, it is a blast to ride at higher speeds.
Hi bro . I just range test my new scooter yesterday. It went 77 miles on one bank before the scooter conked out. 86v 40ah LG m50lt. I can't wait to build the other pack ,and finish the scooter. 154 possible miles ! Lg lose performance when they heat up.
Good video and insights on the GTR. I’m glad you pointed out the issues you have with it, particularly the wonky controller. It’s unfortunate that Kaabo put this scooter out there with the problems you noted. I hope Kaabo corrects those things quickly. One thing I must criticize, however, is Andrew’s message to always wear proper safety gear when we ride while showing a rider (Lenny) who isn’t wearing the proper safety gear for racing a Dualtron Thunder. The message is right and admirable, and I hope you continue to press that message with all your videos. But when you allow a rider into your video who doesn’t follow that message, your message rings hollow. Yeah, he has a helmet and gloves on, the helmet being the most important safety gear. But at the speed a Thunder can achieve, more safety gear is necessary to prevent or mitigate other injuries a high-speed fall on asphalt can cause. Andrew knows this first-hand (EUC crash). Lenny’s just asking for trouble in shorts and a T-shirt. I know exactly what can happen and the pain that follows a crash on asphalt at even much slower speeds than what a Thunder can achieve without leg, torso, and arm protection. I cringe when I see people ride at high speeds on electric scooters/EUC’s without all the proper safety gear. Obviously, each rider determines for himself or herself what the right safety gear is for them. But your safety message means nothing if you don’t ensure participants in your videos all follow the ATGATT safety message you want to send to your viewers. You guys are influencers. I used a chest mount to record it with a lavalier connected to a media mod. I forgot my extension piece so some of my footage is angled weird on this one due to the lavalier end preventing me from putting the camera straight. I will be getting a chin attachment for future videos. You need a decent lavalier and I attach it to my buckle on the helmet under my chin to prevent too much wind noise. I’m just using a GoPro 9 with media mod.

Sweet, thanks for confirming!
does the upcoming black edition change anthing?
Yes , Police will shoot at it for no reason.
Hi how many day in uk !
U had to pay for a new controller or they sent u a free one?
This early on, the warranty would’ve covered it.
I completely disagree with you about the thumb throttle you so hate. I actually changed the twist throttle to a thumb throttle on my Inmotion RS Lite. I have 2 scooters with the trigger throttle and 2 with the thumb throttle and I sooooo much prefer the thumb throttle.
Battery vehicles are extremely sensitive to weight. I guess that's some motivation for me to lose some weight.
Awesome video as usual #FLINKO
guys please give a review to the yume hawk pro, 6000w dual motor, pls. pls...tc guys always...thank u guys...
I watched a couple videos and it seams the controller heats up really easily so whatever you find out be sure to pay attention to people who have it as their own.
Guys anybody know the Langfeite GT2 RS?
Looks like I made the right choice.
You should have done a race with switched riders too
We will do that in the future.
@@freshlycharged And did you use the turbo mode on the Thunder 3 aswell?
i like how no one has done a proper review on the thunder 3...
it's kinda suspicious. It's been out there for awhile, but noone has come out with a proper review. Makes me wonder.
It will be here in a few days and a proper review will be out soon!
@@kaspalone the only info ive seen on it apart from Scootopia (OhManDan) and a few over view videos was these french guys i forget their name who own a shop.
@@TheCylonBomb same here. Ever since I got word it was coming out, I've been looking for info, buts it's somewhat scarce. It's sad, since that's the machine I'm looking forward to.
Dont worry guys, Dualtrons are superior machines! You have to ride one to understand. Comparing a Dualtron to anything kaabo is like comparing a BMW to a Toyota.
I would like to see the teverun supreme against this GTR lol
I think I’ll hold off until they decide to make a model without the removable battery. Not a fan of that.
Nice
love it lol!
I am 5 foot 4 and 110 pounds. I think it's way too big for me but I would get excellent mileage.
🐍 Quality batteries is a big deal. Let us know when you get the NEW LG Battery. 🖖🤙
I think most riders should be able to get 50 miles or so out of a 35ah battery if they’re not maxing it out all the time
those formal ranges are garbage, zero match to reality
PNW?
Colorado.
I do Uber eats so I would be the one that goes 20 mph in downtown LA traffic so I can get more range. 20 is more than enough
It's not the fatest, but it's a very nice product... Too Much Speed can kill you and others... it's better to slow down and have a enjoyable... ;0 Thanks for the video.
It is important to ride safely around pedestrians. I always slow down when riding past people and make sure to slow down on blind turns. I only open it up when I have clear vision and there is no pedestrians in the way.
@@freshlycharged Thanks Merci... Nice Philosophy.
I realy dont like that crayzi spead od El. Scuters standing .Mine scuter is 40km/h max.
⚡⚡
I weigh 155 lbs and in 4th gear, I got 80 miles on my gtr😊
💯‼️💙
I want a free one so bad ❤
G booster smokes it upto 30mph
a dog or a cat or a human can easily jump into those lanes at 5:00 and then what?
How is this the fastest scooter when the Weped sonic X exists? It goes way faster!
Put a bigger battery and I'll buy it.
You can always buy two batteries or daisy chain an aftermarket one.
RS meaning?? Run Sh!t😅
Just got my GTR today and they are full of shit. I’ve got the shitty 33 ah battery and the shitty 2 amp charger
As far as quickest and top end, this is probably the one.
People are going to throw around shit they don't own, or wait a year for.
This thing is ridiculous.😅
i will not buy it until they upgrade the battery
Lmao 35ah battery is Big and hevy peole.ride abrasive ya ot eats the battery but 25-30mph it will do about 45 miles
Anything is faster than trash dualtron. Simple fact
with that range this is a giant waste of money toy
He’s riding it like a man on a suicide mission. Normal riding, even with bursts of 40-50 you can probably get double that. I live in an urban city so it would be impossible to ride this like Andrew is even if I wanted to lol. I have a Wolf King GT Pro and I get around 50 miles which is good.
My car can go 170mph, I get 30mpg if I drive 60-70, if I went 170 constantly I’d probably get around 9mpg.
You're calling that the world's fastest scooter is a bit of an exaggeration as there are scooter specifically designed for racing they can get up to speeds of 99 mph
World fastest production scooter.
@@Qu.Z.I would say no. For example there is the Teverun Fighter 7260R which goes faster than the GTR and costs the same
@@Luca_Dji_droneNo real data backing that up. Not at least from any reputable reviewer. So technically, yes, the Wolf King GTR is the fastest production model.
@@Luca_Dji_drone there's only claims, no video's of it. And it's the same motor as the teverun supreme but with bigger 60ah battery and bigger tires. And the supreme had lower top speed than the gtr and slower acceleration than the gtr. So they're right, the gtr is the fastest.
@@Patkilla7558 Slack Core 920R is much faster, and solidly (sustained battery power output) faster, at 90 or + mph. It uses genuine Samsung 40T cells. Unfortunately most places that carry this battery are fake if you were to build the battery pack yourself.
Hello guys, i ride my GTR whit 60-70km/h and my range is 60km, thats normal???
Dang 40km is terrible
That is if I am going full throttle. This ride I was able to get 34 miles of range with an average pace of 30 mph.
