We're honored and pleased to have our animated film screened at Dust/Alter, and we're excited to be able to reach such a large audience for it. We hope you'll all be thrilled by Camouflage!
Very moving. (Or should I say "mooving"? 😉) Lot's to ponder. Especially the ending... 🤔 Thanks for creating such a wonderful piece of art! 😎☮️
Was a neat one, good work.
Keep it up! This was a head scratcher and was worth a rewatch!
is this an allegory for something? It really feels like it is.
@@origami83 it's pretty deep isn't it?
Haven’t seen an animated movie this good is so long. Well done
This was so so good! Best Dust episode in a long while. Sheesh
Loved voicing Amouf and Detective Clint in this. Can’t wait to work on another Mooves Studio project in the future.
That was amazing! The ending, to me, seems to show that....
** WARNING SPOILERS BELOW!!!! **
.....everyone was actually a "jelly". They were hiding it, they were hiding their humanity (which ironically was displayed as being monsters), their kindness, and whoever showed it was deemed "weak".
I really wish this one had a happy ending, but at least the pigeon survived....
Not entirely unpredictable (I must have seen too many movies in my life; I knew everything that was going to happen). But this was really, really well done! Bravo!
Wow!! This was amazing!! Excellent animation and edge of your seat storyline! That ending was jaw dropping.
We all have a choice. We can accept others as they are, love them and realize we are basically all the same; or we can separate ourselves from who we perceive as the "other" and hate them.
💯
I’ll choose separate.
Beautifully done movie. The person you are oppressing is really you. Interesting reveal.
Thank you, that's an interesting point of view!
The road legal one is the EGO, and it's a few pounds heavier since it has lights and stuff on it to make it street legal. Then again if you opt with the lesser shock system that might shave those lbs back off too. the road one is capped at 150 mph / 199 kph too, while this one is supposedly wide open. topping mid to upper 160's i hear.
Enjoyed this film, wasn't expecting it to end the way it did.
Good job to all involved making this film.
Keep them coming!
Wow, this was something special, nice job on an original and very well made piece!
" I would rather die, then to watch the Innocents I helped save be destroyed."
Honestly started off not knowing what was going to happen slow paced but it wasn't meant to be a thriller action horror. Love this video keep pumping out more content please!
👌💯
Great animated short.8out of 10.thank u so much for the view.great ending.
That's not necessarily true. I have the Ribelle, which is the same thing, only neutered slightly on the top end and a more upright sitting position. Their power distribution scheme is pretty good and you really don't see much of a drop off, at least I don't. Ive ran the thing in the low 30's to upper 20's battery range and it still takes off like a scalded cat and hits 120 mph very fast and sustains it. At 20 percent it starts curtailing your power to conserve the battery.
Great animation. Great story. Very relevant these days. ❤👍
Superbly underrated
Wow! Speechless
Can't say I was as impressed as everyone else seemed to be but I definitely enjoyed it
'"De Jager Saves Lives". Eindelijk erkenning!
Well done and thanks.
Complimenti per questa figata ❤😃🍾🥂👍
Wasn’t prepared for where this went. FUK YEAH✊🏾
veeeery nice!
Really breaking the mould with this one.
Excellent!
Briljant movie!
LOVE IT!!!Love it all…✊🏾
Such a great fable of violence, hatred and confusion about "humanity"!
Thanks for having CC enabled :-)
Wonderful. Also the soundtrack. I would love to see more episodes.
Quite good. Odd sense of priority and morality In the main character.
Fantastic! 😻
Exelent istory, congratulatios
This is excellent!!!!! Congratulations
From the storyline point.....very original
SMOOOTH...
A salutary and preceint tale with sadness and hopefully hope at the end, if we just stand up and not give in to the programming
This is great!
So we all wear camouflage to some degree, hoping we won't be exposed as fraud or "other".
😮❤😮
NO WAY?!😮😮😮
probably the best short on dust catalouge
Feels like old school MTV aeon flux Beavis and Butthead meets love death and robots
Make to think,tense
Immensely relevant. Bravo 👏
The voltage is optimal at around 300 volts. I thin it's 330 fully charged.
Wow! That was absolutely brilliant!
Sofa king strange, loved it.
Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppp!!! 💣💣💣💣💣💣
It is inspried by "metal hurlant" (heavy metal)? i really enjoyed.
Not really, but we do love Metal Hurlant!
That was cold 😢
wonderful movie!
Wow! That was cool! Love it! Greetings from Acapulco.
Wow! That was really heavy.
Excellent👀🔥💯💯💯💯💯💯
Was I watching the Spanish inquisition, Nazi Germany or Cambodia? I once saved a pigeon by taping its broken wing. I didn't put it in a box. It lived in the courtyard outside. It ate a lot dry cat food that was put out by multiple for the stray cat that also lived in the courtyard.
This was good do more of these animated films...
💔
Meaning of this is??
One of Dusts better ones!
Um desenrolar fascinante e surpreendente. Simples assim.
Muito bom!
Exactly.
+ 1
I enjoy it But thf was going on ??? Haha
Thats how the end times will be throughout the world. Betrayal and crimes against every living thing.
😐😐😐
_ОК... Допустим..._
🤨😱🤯
Messed up, sorta reminds me of the holocaust.
Interesting. Obviously some of the people were human but imagine if the jellies had completely replaced all the humans but they all pretended to be human and prosecute the jellies not realising that everyone was a jelly.
You weren't paying attention. At the end, everyone in the windows in the very last scene was a Jelly. There WERE no humans. They were persecuting themselves.
2nd
Excellent short animation, especially the motif of discrimination + paranoia, and its relationship with the Judenjagd (the hunt for Jews) during WWII. Though, the ending made it less about Jews hunting Jews, and more about McCarthyism - Americans hunting American communist spies throughout the U.S., using their Karen abilities to get people fired from their jobs or imprisoning them for being too "socialistic." So, I guess this film starts as a monster movie that turns into Judenjagd and eventually reveals itself to be McCarthyism.
Only bummer is all the fake comments 😂😂😂
Which comments were you thinking about in particular?
Meh. Dour and predictable. Excellent animation. Story a bit hacked and dialogue pedantic. Good effort. Try again!
Thanks for your constructive criticism 😅
Gee, can't trust anyone these days, it seems... 😉
Great story! 👍🤗
M 🦘🏏😎
this is something very toughtfull, very good work!
Enjoyed that, thanks.
Twisted!
"Поки натягуєш тетиву, пильнуй, Щоб ззаду зрадник не стояв з ножем обрізати її в останню мить Або встромити тобі в спину." Віль'ям Шекспір.
Incredible storyline everything

HVALA
Society forcing all of us into an acceptable norms and for those who stray....
Loved it.
Love me some Jellies
This was great!!!! 🐙
Loved it. Best short film I have seen on here in a while!
I actually thought this going to be something I wouldnt like ..... boy was |I wrong ..... great story!
Rich story kinda stuff.
wow, I really enjoyed this! kind of bizarre and I loved the way the story progressed! very suspenseful
Wow! I can not find any words. Masterpiece!
No more jellys for me !
Seagull you must've known for a long time, the shape things to come...
Wendy Malick could play as De Jager.
I could hear and see that 😅
N0 notes, excellent work🎉
WHOA!!.
That's the world we live in. Couldn't stop watching it.!!!!!
Amazing storytelling and the animation was so good!
It’s a damn shame that he had to die like that. And his own people just sat there and watched.
My Sergent said " I though you hand camouflage class this morning?" And, i said 'I did'. Then he said " i didn't see you there" and, i said ' thank you'. He laughs and walks away.
I just had to rewatch this; it's epic. The ending was shocking.
good and horrifying movie
Yeah, I know many in the comments "get" this movie, but I, however, do not. At all. The animation was good, but the meaning is lost.
The humans are the monsters in disguise but wow what an ending
ok
love it
The greatest evil perpetrated is the evil committed by nobodies, that is, human beings who refuse to be persons. ????
This statement is a value judgement.
If I accept the basic definition that a nobody is someone of no consequence or having no status we then need to define status and consequence. This is also open to interpretation based on an individual or group perspective ie the head of a family or major organization; both have consequence and status within their own sphere and anyone outside of that sphere could choose to perceive the other as without value and therefore as being a nobody.
The basic definition of 'person' refers to the artificial entity or corporation. Person is a designation forced on all homo sapiens/human beings via the certificate of birth and we do not get the option to refuse.
So what is it you are trying to really say?
If you choose to see someone who does NOT impose their will upon others as being the perpetrators of evil, I guess we are in opposition. It is claimed that Einstein said, "The greatest evil is not committed by those doing evil, but by those who do nothing" which is similar to your opening statement. But, I'd like to ask why so much effort went into building up the illusion of something good only to later allow the evil hiding within ooze out and contaminate everything? Was it just because you could? Out of boredom? Or most likely because of a hatred of the human race. This seems ironic considering humans are the sum result of the meddling which has been done to them and not what they should be or would have been if the law of non-interference had been adhered to. Still, it is worth pointing out that all who perceive themselves as somebody would not be without homo sapiens to give validation. Will that validation still have merit when it has become a mandatory or programmed response?
At the risk of being redundant I shall end this with a value statement of my own...The greatest evil perpetrated is the evil committed by nobodies who think they are somebodies, that is, persons who refuse to be human beings.
Hi just1certifiable, thanks for your train of thoughts. The quote is from Hannah Arendt. Her idea of being a "nobody" has less to do with one's consequence or status than with what she regards as the main problem of modern society: our refusal to be fully human. According to her, this refusal to engage, this inclination to reduce ourselves to insignificant cogs in the machine, paves the way towards evil. She coined a term for that: the "banality of evil". For Arendt, being a person means to engage, to get involved and, in that way, to be accountable.
The quote is from Hannah Arendt, who wrote a number of seminal works on totalitarianism and fascism in society, and she's talking about making oneself a servant of the dictatorship authority without questioning it. Think of the people who were "only following orders" in Nazi Germany and didn't believe they did anything wrong because of it and were surprised they were actually being charged with a crime.
@@DrachenGothik666 Thank you for the source of the quote and sharing the perspective of it.
It is amazing to think of thousands of people marching to their deaths because a few in uniforms told them to do it. It seems many are destined to repeat. The inability of so many to question anyone that looks like they are in authority is unfortunate, but proven again by the Milgram experiment.
By the way, my favorite part of the film was the saving of the pigeon.
10:58 SFO Airport Milbrae? So that's meant to be a BART train?
