The Switch Skill called Metsu Shoryugeki will be your bread and butter. It's a vertical uppercut shield bash that is a counter skill with guard points.
I didn’t bother picking up sns until right after Shara. I severely regret it. So many difficult monsters killed with it, such as furious Rajang, master rank Lunastra, and alatreon

I have a special place in my heart for sns. Mhw was my first ever monster hunter game and picked the charge blade because it was cool and didnt realize it’s one of the hardest weapons in the game to master 🤦♀️ i was about to give up on playing it till i switched to sns and it’s been a go-to ever since 😁
