Hi my name is Renee And I am new to vanlife. It has been a ambition of mine for over 3 years and finally made it. I do have a lot to learn and will make many mistakes along the way. Hoping to show you real #vanlife as it unfolds. Jake (cat) is my companion and he loves to ride along on bumpy roads, buzzing around town, but most of all he enjoys his walks and free time outside. Hi Renee! I am doing vanlife for the same reasons. I have sons, dil and grandson in Florida, youngest daughter in North Carolina, and oldest girl in Texas USA. Every Spring the Northeast calls me, and every Fall I need to see the leaves change. I will follow your journey. I am waiting for an engine replacement in the van I just bought a month or so ago. Its been stressful, but I refuse to fail!
Glad that you are refusing to give up. It may be hard but success is around the corner. I believe I shall be in your boots one day but for now I will enjoy my moments. So glad to meet you and have you along on this journey as well.😊 Nikki the stress will subside, grasp onto that steering wheel and imagine the places your going cause when it is finish you can say it’s a dream come true.

Just know that diesel heaters need power to run. I use a wave 3. But have friends that use diesels in their vans and really struggle for power in our wet coast winter...and they also have solar.

Loreen Thanks for the wisdom. I do have two solar generator and hoping that will be enough. I will definitely consider having propane heat for back up as well. I am excited to get my frig off the floor into a cupboard. Stay warm out there! 🧣

And I just doubled up my reflectix on my 13 windows. Is making a very noticeable difference.
I watched your last video and seen that, that is a huge job with 13 windows. All snuggly warm in big blue. Love seeing all your video’s they have helped me in my journey.
