God bless you Darrell and your house of music .Todd you are and always will be a living legend also thank you sir for your sound.Big fan many moons ago after hearing your Real Man work.
Way back when, when this tune was released on the radio. I was working playing bass with a band in Fla. Kinda Ac dc some Beatles etc. I insisted we learn and play this song. The lawd singer jumped on bass I played the keys. Became a most requested song. While we played it close to the record, nowhere near this great.
I like both of these guys normally, but I need to be honest. I didn’t understand the mumbling by Todd and couldn’t listen to the rest of the video. Maybe the sound was off, I don’t know, but Daryl is normally awesome. Haven’t heard Todd in years.
I just listened with the volume down and the static disappeared. I need new speakers. That's awesome. I actually have been considering making a trip to Daryl's House. I don't live that far away, in Maine. @@loner2stoner
I was there - I LOVE Daryl's music - but I know cover bands that would have sounded better. I was so disappointed. Sorry but it looked and sounded like Daryl and Todd were doing x before the concert or something. I saw recordings of shows a couple of days before and they sounded MUCH better. IDK what happened that night but....bleh.
There are many singers like these 2, the late Gordon Lightfoot comes to mind also, whose voices are not what they used to be given their ages now. (Gord was 83 and still touring!) So they are singing in lower keys than they used to, in parts, it seems like they are letting the backup singers do the lead in some of the songs. I get that. But in the Delphonics song, Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time, where the song modulates to a different key, they seemed to pick a key out of the air and inserted it, rather than sing it as written. This would, for me, be one of those concerts that I enjoy the show, but crank the CD up on the way home in the car.

Love this, but the static, is unbearable
Static?
It's on my end. I had cranked it up and I think I have a blown speaker. @@loner2stoner
One hand holding it and My camera was on top of the speaker and other hand on the stage the whole video

I thought it was pretty good not gonna lie and Todd threw me the peace sign as u can see in the video. But I enjoyed it
Jesus, dude, they are 77 and 74. Let's see what your vocal cords sound like then.
Always critics out there. Come on! They're friends and both have very soulful singing styles.

They looked bored. LOL Having sung the song for the millionth time ...
Yes perhaps you're right
Musicians having fun with it all. ❤
Censored
I've been saying it for years now, he just can't do the songs justice anymore.
Camera work is atrocious😢
