Those Wallace Chen designs are extraordinary. His Dragonfly designs are magical. The Late Queen and Elizabeth Taylor definitely had an eye for exquisite gems and jewelry designs.
I loved watching your video. One factual correction though: Elizabeth Taylor did not attend the Academy Awards where she one Best Performance by an Actress for her role in Whose Afraid of Virginia Wolf?. She received the Oscar statue for that performance later on at the Bafta Awards and that's where she wore the Bulgari emerald necklace.
Yes, here is what Wallace Chan said about his necklace: “I decided to use translucent green and white jades to represent China, contrasting with bright, sparkling diamonds to reflect Western culture"
Liz Taylor's husband could mean Conrad “Nicky” Hilton, Michael Wilding, Mike Todd, Eddie Fisher, Richard Burton, Richard Burton (again), John Warner or Larry Fortensky! She was a passionate woman who indulged her passions freely.
Ooohhhh I am *IN LOVE* Such Beauty! When I win the lottery and I'm a Gazillionaire, I'm buying the Bulgari Emerald Necklace from the 1960s that belonged to Liz Taylor and the De Grisogono..THEN I'll purchase whatever Bling he wants for my Fave UA-camr ✨️ @Jewellery Pleasure 🙏 Whatever you want, buddy! *hug* Thank you for this awesome video! You're the best, my pal
@@JewelleryPleasure Yes the De Grisogono is absolutely gorgeous ! 😍 It reminds me of the Jewelry that Van Cleef & Arpels use to make in the 1960s-1970s (I wasn't born until the mid 80s but I have 1 grandmother left on my maternal side and she has some really beautiful pieces im hoping she will leave me when she doth sadly depart.) Hrm I'm not sure why that one is so crazy expensive either.

Yeah, "extraordinary" is the word that perfectly describes creations of Wallace Chen.
The Swiss diamond and emerald necklace is just STUNNING. Wallace. NO WORDS.
Agree :)
I love the Patiala necklace, and the first one in the video best.

Does the Wallace Chen necklace contain white jade as well?

@@JewelleryPleasure I thought that was white jade in there. Thank you for replying!😊
Yo he visto todas las películas de Liz

Yep, and with Richard Burton it was more than 2 times if I'm not mistaken...

De Grisogono is my favourite now also. And I still do not understand why Huttons jadeite necklace is so expensive...

1060s??? 🤔
@@Skyblue-fw5rm Yes That's Exactly right from 1060 and that's BC, mind you until the end of the 1970s AD. It wasn't an obvious typo

Good evening everyone
What is the Cullinan Heritage diamond? Maybe I heard incorrectly...
Hi Norma, yes it is the Cullinan Heritage diamond, discovered in 2009 in South Africa. You can google it if you are interested.
