I am a huge fan of yours all learn more from you thanks for the content and i want to see the mid century modern sofa built 😍😍 I'm sure it will be amazing
Hello, I am your subscriber from Korea and I've been following your channel for a long time. Could you please tell me what kinda spray that you were using at 02:32 ?
I love the design and craftsmanship on display, but I think my favourite thing in these videos is the editing! I love how the narration is synched with a graphic or animation which just drives home the key takeaways! Massive fan already. Can't wait to get into some of these projects!
I bought this as a gift for my friend ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG who is just starting out in the world of wood work. He loves it!! There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.
Awesome build, looks great! As a mechanical engineer that designs in mm but converts to imperial sizes due to machine shop ease, your 25.4mm call-outs made me chuckle.
A piece of art just like the bed frame. Your explanation of all of your techniques are unmatched. The sense of humor between you guys is just a bonus! Thanks for sharing your talents!
I felt a sense of pride from Shaun at the end with that smile. Made me smile. Been watching both you gents, separate and together, for years. Keep up the inspiring work!
Absolutely the best woodworking instructional videos! Your communication skills are the best as well. Your designs are excellent, as well. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Outstanding piece, just gorgeous and very elegant. I’ve been wanting to make a night stand for many years but have been intimidated by the idea of building such a project and didn’t want to end up with a crappy looking piece once finished. I think I’ll be buying your plans for this. You do a fantastic job explaining how and why you are doing certain things and what order to do them in. I’ve learned a lot from your channel over the years, great stuff.
How your videos do not have more likes astounds me. I was watching you both back when you had your own channels and now that you are combined, it is a whole 'nuther level of awesome!! You guys rock!!
We make our drawer boxes from wormy maple and it really makes a huge difference. Opening a work of art like this to see cheap plywood drawers can take away from the overall experience.
Another beautiful piece, Shaun. One of the best things about your videos is learning the order in which you do things to make the pieces look great. Bill
Keahlian Anda sungguh luar biasa, saya akan belajar banyak dari anda.Terima kasih videonya Sangat bermanfaat sekali untuk Saya.Sukses selalu.Salam hormat ku dari Indonesia
Okay guys. It's not fair. The quality of your work is (in comparison with other youtube-video-feeding woodworkers who shall not be named) FAAARRRR TOO GOOD! The beauty, the balance, the... everything! And... loads of clarifying info on top! Just... WOW! Keep it up dudes! 👍
Your videos and workflow has inspired the way that I work in my shop. I am a mechanical engineer, so I can now come up with my own designs, create templates and make all the cool curves and angles that really scratch the mid-century itch. The content on this channel is super inspiring :)
4:19… trim/finish (journeyman) carpenter here…. This is the same tip I give to newer trim carpenters that struggle with base boards. Except I just say go 46 degrees. No need to fight it as long as the outside is nice and tight. The glue squeeze will fill the imperfect cut and if it’s paint grade no one will ever know. If it does happen to be stain grade you need to be a bit better with the details though.
I’ve built many pieces of furniture in 40+ years your approach is very similar to mine. I enjoy your designs and your vids are entertaining, keep it up.
Seriously impressive stuff. I'm fairly new to woodworking, and this is a long way from the plywood bookcase I've just built! Your furniture is very inspirational, love how passionate you both are, and how beautiful your furniture is, definitely furniture goals right there...maybe in 5 or 10 years though!! Thanks for all your hard work in sharing the builds
Really nice, and i love the little brass detail, one of your most subtle but elegant designs . You'd almost need a hint of brass in the bed somewhere too.
Great design, quality and your work shows that you love what you do! Nice way to show and narrate the process. I subscribed after watching the bed project and this one goes together with it.
Middle pair of glasses is best. Great night stand and bed. I was just thinking my current bedroom set is sort of old and tired, so this might be a perfect next project!
My bed had no matching nightstands so my first ever project was making and designing those. Wish this video was out back then as mine are very similar and I could have learned from your design!
Haven't been on the channel in awhile. Very detailed and easy to listen to, Been a fan of mid century modern since the Danes invented Danish Modern. LOL! You've sparked my interest. Thanks!
Promise i will buy several plans and try them out. I just need to free up some time to wood working. In the meantime i enjoy watching your guys stuff :)
Great video as always. I’m a fan of Chris and Shaun individually and together. You two have similar overall styles but still distinctly your own. I’ve enjoyed the previous builds that complimented each other but I like this series because they were made together with purpose.
Hey thank u so much for your videos..they are a great help and they always light up that spark i needed! How do u prevent pieces from becoming "matchy matchy" when u design them as a couple??? Thats something i always struggle with.. Trying to make a design that fits perfectly together without ending up in a matchy matchy look!!! Do u already have a video about this??? If not it would be an interesting point to talk about i think! Thx
Eyeing your plans for this one, but what wood do you thing would be a right choice that would allow to take mistakes easy and enjoy the learning process without worrying about money lost on each fhiccup and at the same time would look nice once finished? Would plywood be reasonable? I know its possible to get nice finishes with it. Not cheap I guess. Does it need to be dead dry to stay in tact even for such small pieces of furniture? Beautiful work clean finish of both pieces you build and videos you put together and that applies to pretty much all of your work I saw so far. Found myself watching one after another and then another as I stumbled upon your channel this week. Very inspiring.
15:52 Oddly enough, using the metric system here in the Netherlands, I've found that when I eyeball a reveal or something, it almost always comes to a distance like 25,4 mm, or some other seemingly random number like 50,8 mm. Somehow aesthetically inches are what seems to work 😄
That's a lovely piece of furniture, well done. As the owner of a mid century modern home (in need of a lot of love, but getting there), I can see that in my place! This design transcends fashion, it's got style. It looks like it could have come from Parker Furniture in Sydney from the 1970's, but it's come from your place this month. Which means it'll still look great in 2070! Well, with some wax... :-)
Lovely work as usual from you guys. Can you explain why you decided to use two different flush trim bits please? Wondering why you didn't just use the router table to trim off all the waste at once. Building a variation on this design and wonder what pattern cutting bit I should get for my table mounted router. Thank you in advance.....Mark
Love the designs, except for one thing. The bed legs look great but I fear they will stub some toes. Maybe have them set back some but with the same angle? Love the table design!
I had literally drawn a handle pull using this exact design for a bar cabinet and now I realized it wasn't original at all. Damn you guys and your tasteful design choices...

please make a vanity dresser for this bed
Pretty pretty pretty!

Haha, glad you appreciated that one!
Mildly upsetting 😂
That tip for setting the blade past 45 degrees is a game changer for me, been having issues with mitres for ages and recently tried it, works a charm.
Love to hear how genuinely proud you are of the work you’re doing. It’s certainly warranted. 👍🏻❤️
Thanks, man! Every once in a while we are proud of what we make around here haha!
A piece of art just like the bed frame. Your explanation of all of your techniques are unmatched. The sense of humor between you guys is just a bonus!

I'm glad it came across! Thanks for watching, Brian!
Dayumm that's a good looking piece. I want it in walnut
Absolutely the best woodworking instructional videos! Your communication skills are the best as well. Your designs are excellent, as well. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Great as usual. Can’t wait for the dresser to complete the set!

Some people can actually just like it to themselves
We make our drawer boxes from wormy maple and it really makes a huge difference. Opening a work of art like this to see cheap plywood drawers can take away from the overall experience.
So so beautiful I almost cried with the final result after watching the whole process
The craftsmanship is impeccable.
Another beautiful piece, Shaun. One of the best things about your videos is learning the order in which you do things to make the pieces look great.
Bill
Thanks Bill! Yeah, order of operations is definitely one of the things I spend the most amount of time thinking about.
Keahlian Anda sungguh luar biasa, saya akan belajar banyak dari anda.Terima kasih videonya Sangat bermanfaat sekali untuk Saya.Sukses selalu.Salam hormat ku dari Indonesia
Absolutely exquisite design! It would bring a smile to Sam Maloof's face.
It's amazing how much the brass handle changes the piece. Nice work.
Have to admit, probably one of the most motivational and interesting woodworking videos.

This is probably the best team up since Batman and Robin. You guys are legit killing it 👏🏼

Warby Parker really is the perfect sponsor for Four Eyes Furniture.
Truly beautiful furniture guys - thank you!
Such a beautiful build! I’d love to make these when I finish my little woodshop
I will have to watch this video many times to feel confident to order a template, it’s gorgeous thank you

you should be proud.. that design is probably my favorite thing you've made.. knocked it out of the park
Thank you for keep setting new standards for fantastic plans (and videos). They got me into woodworking and I love it 🙏
Really appreciate hearing that! Thanks!
I like the way you did the handle. Good job.
Respect for your hard work
Your wood working skills are amazing.
I’ve built many pieces of furniture in 40+ years your approach is very similar to mine. I enjoy your designs and your vids are entertaining, keep it up.
Always nice to hear that, thanks Jack!
Excellent complement to the bed! And pretty clever figuring out that 25.4 mm offset.
Your pieces are sooo elegant.
Shaun, absolutely love your videos dude so so good. I'm one of the guys without the Domino so I am thankful for you showing options.
Seriously impressive stuff. I'm fairly new to woodworking, and this is a long way from the plywood bookcase I've just built! Jokes on you my 45° cuts are never truly 45° anyway.
Really nice, and i love the little brass detail, one of your most subtle but elegant designs . You'd almost need a hint of brass in the bed somewhere too.
Appreciate it! The bed hardware kind of looks like brass, maybe that counts?
Beautiful piece, sot of an aeronautical feel to it. The open sides of the shelf and bar have a domino thing going.
I made the same drawer handle design one year ago and I love it . Great night Stand
Epic styling ! You guys might be the coolest furniture makers in California ! Autographs and Shop tours 2023 ?! Asking for a friend ;) lol
great work, Shaun. one of my favorites from your portfolio, along with the Glenn chair
Great design, quality and your work shows that you love what you do! Nice way to show and narrate the process. I subscribed after watching the bed project and this one goes together with it.
Thanks for making multiple build options for those of us without a domino

Middle pair of glasses is best. Great night stand and bed. I was just thinking my current bedroom set is sort of old and tired, so this might be a perfect next project!
Thanks! I'll mark down your vote!
Phenomenal job, Shaun!
The very pleasing design and a great instructional video. I especially like the one of a kind drawer pull and the curvaceous legs 😍
Beautiful piece of furniture! Great job on this.
Super nice design and looks great in white oak. Might have to give this one a try!
You guys just keep getting better and better - this is really good!
Thanks Gabe...we're trying to :)
(get better)
That was really good. I watch most all of your offerings...you were firing on all cylinders this one...thanks.
Really appreciate it!
Your furniture is so beautiful 😍
Dang that brass is awesome
You always pull one out of the bag :) I still remember those garage days :)
Очень хорошая работа. металл и дерево всегда выглядтт как премиум. very clean work. Hello from Russia.
Awesome build and video as always. As a metric user even I had a chuckle at 25.4mm/1".
Geez, that flew right over my head.
My bed had no matching nightstands so my first ever project was making and designing those. Wish this video was out back then as mine are very similar and I could have learned from your design!
Damn.... if only this video had come out sooner, or you had a Delorean ;)
JK, appreciate the kind words!
@@Foureyes.Furniture lets see what Delorean announces on April 18th, it may not be too late! Keep you posted haha
That handle detail is divine!
The level of engaging that I've come to associate with your channel
Thank you for such a wonderful gift
Thanks Maria...appreciate it :)
Love this design! Almost has a Krenov-esq character to it.

Simply beautiful. You guys design stunning furniture and make exceptional videos.
Thanks Rick!

This might be your best build yet. Great job
You are righteously proud of your design, the build, great visuals and video editing!! What a great channel!!
You should be proud I’m definitely going to buy the plans I think they’re both beautiful pieces of furniture just like everything you guys do really
This looks very much like a scam
Great video and build! Love seeing a glimpse of your family, beautiful!
They look awesome.
your videos are amazing guys, keep up the great work...
Well done, well done my friend. Bread and butter, peanut butter and jelly, french fries and a Frosty and, of course, Butch and Sundance.
Wood engineering at its best. Well done guys. Wish I could do that but at 74 I might just be a wee bit late. Love to watch just the same. Thanks.

Great, thorough tutorial! Thanks!
I really like that you use your finger to spread the glue rather than some silly silicone brush
A finger is by far the best glue spreading tool I have ever used.
Beautiful as always
Appreciate your hard works. Do you have a video introducing the tools you are using or a guide how to setup a workshop like yours? Thank you.
Great project. Looking forward to trying that build myself.
Awesome, can't wait to see how it comes out!
Such a pleasantly proportioned and elegant looking piece. Great build tutorial as well. Rock solid work.
Nice Job! Love the table.
This is really beautiful.

супер, как всегда отличный дизайн
Nice work on the nightstand Shaun! Thanks for sharing the video with us!👍💖😎JP
