    My neighbor from 10 years ago from a state I no longer live in used to make homemade corn chowder and she’d always bring us some. She added andouille sausage to it. I need to make your recipe. I forgot how good corn chowder is until I watched this. Yum! Thanks for the reminder.

    I think I would’ve added a little bit of a good instant potato instead of the flour it will probably give it any more flavor. But usually if I have anything with potatoes or corn or milk-based soups my thickening agent has always been instant potatoes. It would only take a couple tablespoons to thicken it and you don’t have to worry about cooking the flour taste out of it.

    YUMMO! This looks so delicious. Can't wait to make it. If fresh corn ISN'T available, could you use frozen corn or corn on the cob, canned corn in a pinch? Our household in NJ says Thanks to Noreen & also to your Aunt Debbie!

    • @noreenskitchenchannel
      @noreenskitchenchannel  5 років тому

      I think you could use frozen corn, however it won't be as good as fresh. I would recommend that if you are going to use frozen corn, that you add either some canned or frozen creamed corn into the mixture to make it ultra creamy.

      The pumpkin butter should not be frozen and I believe I addressed this question on another non related video yesterday.

      No, this cannot be canned. It is not a safety tested or approved canning recipe. I will not give suggestions for how to rogue can this. Sorry.

      You can easily add chicken to this by cooking it first before the veggies then follow the steps in the order of the recipe.
