I have 208,000 mi on my 2011 expedition that I bought new. I have had no issues what so ever. Everything works, nothing has broken. I tow 6000 lbs. all the time. It goes great in the snow. It does great on the boat ramp pulling my 20' boat. It tows my track car and you don't even know it's back there. I hope to keep it for many years to come.
The air ride suspension is keeping me on the fence from getting a 2011 now...you havent had any problems?
Can never fully trust these reviews, they point out problems that could have specifically been caused from hard hard driving , biased opinions and what not , looking to get a 2011 5.4 expedition for my growing family all the reviews are why you should not buy one

I now have almost 140,000K miles.
This model and year was the absolute best.. I drive dozens of them every week.. with many other fords and chevies. But Expeditions are the best thing money can buy.
Dude, I just want to mention how awesome your channel is. You're so much more down to earth and fun to watch than most of the other car vlogs out there, and the production value and cinematography on your videos looks vastly more professional than most as well. I'm a big Mustang fan, although I've never had the chance to own one, and I love seeing what you and Annika do with your cars - the mods, the track days, everything. I've always had a soft spot for V6 Mustangs as well, and I think they're hugely underappreciated in the car community. Anyway, it's late at night and I'm being a bit lengthy, but I just wanted to say how much I love your channel, and I think you guys deserve far more subscribers. Keep it up!

Use 5w-30 and change that oil religiously.
I own a 11 Ford Expedition 4x4 has 230k miles no major issues, I run full Synthetic 5w20 every 5-7k miles replaced tranny fluid and diff fluid every 60k, transfer case every 20k and for the mileage this tank still performs like new. Maybe its my religious maintenance, luck or it was built on quality control day but this vehicle is well built and handles all weather without much fuss. Sure 50 more hp and 100 more ft lbs of torque would be a great addition but its no sloth either.
I had a question I am about to possible buy a 2011 el version it has 154k do you think it will last another 150k

@Mojo Risin Hey even though you use full synthetic these expeditions are notorious for engine sludge you have to baby them the 3V is famous for engine sludge. Be careful and that 5 to 7k mile oil change with all do respect is crazy and dum. You should be changing it every 3k max AND I MEAN MAX every 5k. You feel the sludge until your motor is working harder and stiff n you don’t feel pickup due to this issue. That’s a main reason why the new engines or rebuild ones are so expensive cuz they know if you don’t baby them it won’t last. Your doing good on full synthetic but bring that oil change to a 3000 or 3500 oil change. I use Walmarts full synthetic it’s so good that it gives mobile 1 full synthetic competition n is like super dirt cheap which I love😊😊. Please don’t be offended I’m just trying to help and if you don’t believe me look up here on UA-cam carwizzard he will teach you a lot of the expedition.

We are looking at this exact SUV for towing as well. How has it been doing anything to look for?
So have you done much towing since the video? Approximately how many pounds do you tow? Does your Expy have auto level for towing? Have you found any issues with the wheel bearings since it's Independent rear suspension? I'm looking at these soon for towing 7000lb+ trailer.
How many miles do you have on it now? How is the SUV doing?
I wanted to see more of the vehicle...how spacious etc.
