threshold is where you open the gate and hysterisis is where you close the gate, just cause you started speaking at a certain volume doesnt mean you would always stay above that volume when speaking, the hysterisis should be set either at the point slightly lower than where your whispers are (while threshold is set to the point higher than the background noise and below your speaking volume
I WAS ABLE TO SET UP MY RODECASTER PRO 2 YESTERDAY USING ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH THE GREAT JOB YOU ARE DOING HERE.
WHAT I WANT TO FIND OUT IS IF I CAN STILL PROCESS THE AUDIO USING AUDACITY. BECAUSE AS I IMPORTED THE AUDIO TO AUDACITY, THE LEVEL SEEM TO BE LOW.

Hello. Why does your mic sound keeps changing? It seems like some sort of filtering is on. Some low frequencies disappear sometimes. It should NOT be that way. Is this some issue with Rodecaster? You can clearly hear it from 10:15 and at many other points in this video, where you don't change any settings, but sound changes.
Also, how is this device with cheaper lavalier mics? Like BOYA BY-M1 series, or similar mic with TRRS jack input?

My speakers went silent again, l changed the settings but I have usb going out to speakers and mutes off maybe l have to put it on main or custom settings
The de-esser ball on mine never moves. it's stuck in a dip.

Try turning up the volume so the RodeCaster can hear the s better or you might have it set perfect mine did it too, l put a little up on it works just fine

Sometimes the best solution is to undo everything and start from scratch.

To save your settings save a new “show”. You can save many shows depending on your hardware or configurations.

With the eq can you use the basic processing with the specific processing settings aswell?

Hi! Why is reverberation played in monophonic mode on this device? Can we expect this issue to be fixed in the next firmware of the RØDECaster Pro II? Can this built-in reverb produce a natural surround stereo signal, as in all other mixing consoles from any other manufacturer over the past 50 years?
