- Ministry of Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki instantly promotes a Kenya Prison Officer, Erick Kibuchi, from a Prison Constable to a Corporal after reciting a moving spoken word talking about the life of uniformed officers at Mwea GK Prison in his familiarization visit. He was accompanied by the State Department for Correctional Services Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni Muriuki, Commissioner General of Prisons, Brig (Rtd) John Warioba, Secretary Probation and Aftercare Services Mary Mbau, Kirinyaga Deputy Governor David Githanda Wachira, Mwea MP Mary Maingi among other senior government officers.

It is good to have a leader who listens and acts positively even at a time when no one expects it,Kindiki has always chosen to walk a faithful life since i've ever read and heard from his speeches,he respects himself, he has since university stood for what is right all through, never the less he must have chosen advocating and embracing the basis of the teachings from his honest and transparent parents who are servants of God, it's all about like father like son. We honestly salute you Mr Kindiki na tunakupenda tena sana, be assured of climbing ladders to higher heights than the one you hold.
