I have to wear glasses daily and I have such a hard time choosing new glasses. I’ve checked them out online but I like to try them on first. I’m always afraid once I get them I won’t like them. Girl after my own heart! I view glasses as jewelry even though I have to wear them. I recently bought rainbow colored frames and get so many compliments on them. One tip is if you get a frame you LOVE and your script changes you can send them to ReplaceALens and they’ll swap out the lens a a early good price!

I only need glasses for close work/reading and, yes, watching UA-cams. But... but, but, but, I have shallow sinuses - yes, that is exactly what the ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor called it. I can barely stand any pressure on my nose or on and behind my ears so my goal is to find both the smallest and lightest pairs. My eye doc prescribed some glasses, turned out they were also for close work, my distance vision is nearly perfect - now... not when I was younger. But even then I had to find as light as I could find pairs of glasses.
Considering that your wearing glasses in about 99.5% of your videos I think it's about time you talk about your glasses. I just wish you had provided a bit of a story about your glasses. I mean like when did you get your first pair of glasses and at what age were you? how did you feel about needing to start wearing glasses? Did you ever wear contacts or have you always only wore glasses? Having been an optician for many years, I'm now retired, I did wonder where you were getting your glasses from. You always seen wearing really cute glasses in your videos and you change your glasses quite often. Being a fulltime glasses wearer you really don't want to be seen constantly wearing the same glasses everyday. After all you would never consider wearing the same clothes everyday would you? So why wear the same glasses everyday? That's why being able to order your glasses on-line from Eye Buy Direct as well as numerous other glasses sites is so great. In most cases the glasses are considerably cheaper then a local optical store by quite a bit. In your video you showed 6 pairs of glasses and one pair of prescription sunglasses. I'm assuming there all in your current prescription? Considering that you've been wearing glasses since your second video in You Tube your glasses really don't appear to be all that strong. I'm guessing your glasses are in the area of around -2.75 to -3.50? Do you mind me asking what your prescription is? Needless to say they all look really good on you. My favorite pair on you was the Francesca. I like that pair because with the gold rim around the lower portion of the frame which gives them a touch of elegance. But a very close second is the Santana glasses. A bit of a Harry Potter look for sure but they look really cute on you. You sunglasses are very nice but you need to get them adjusted because they were quite crooked on you in the video.
In your tips about knowing the correct frame size the first number on the inside of the temple is the width of one of the lenses in your glasses, not the overall width across the face portion of the glasses. For example your Francesca glasses each lens is 49mm wide and the bridge is 21mm and I'm guessing the are between your lenses and temples is maybe 6 or 7 mm on each side so the overall width of those glasses is probably somewhere around 134mm. The other numbers you provided were correct. One thing, surprisingly, that EBD doesn't provide is the "overall width" something most all of the others shows. One of the tools you mentioned is really great in helping to choose your glasses. However the virtual "try-on" should never be used for size and fit only the basis "look" of the glasses. This is because of how close you were in taking the selfie to the camera. I think a semi-rimless frame would be a very good look on you. You're really very attractive and semi-rimless glasses would allow your face to be seen that much better. I watched one of your "rare" videos where you had your glasses off to do your makeup. You were very close to your camera and without makeup or glasses made it easy to see why you always look so good wearing glasses. it's because of your natural attractiveness. It's only now only a few days away. So I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year.
