My friend had her fin fun monofin for about 5 years and she was five or six when she got her first fin fun and that was in the very beginning of fin fun.
I always use fin fun Mono fins in the sea and it is very good love fin fun ❤️
The straps on my mermaid kat monofin always stay on, even without my feet in it. You just have to pull it so the knub on the fin is basically surrounded by the smaller of the two holes in the strap, it is very difficult to do, but you only have to do it once or twice. It is a great monofin, too. I hope to be able to take it out to a lake soon.
Out of all of these I STRONGLY recommend finfun. Its not just a toy

Shes talking about their original monofin though. They have since had a pro and now amp model so those are likely better. The tail Ivy wants for her Bday they automatically come with the pro fin now and can be up charged to get the amp instead. I'd like to know how those do.

@@lewis3761 Kitten O.o How do you know it was a knock off they have more than one type of fin fun monofin. Even now they have an upgraded one to the more advanced one. It looks exactly like one of the ones they dont pair with it any more.
I'm on amazon right now it's from fin funs amazon account and it's a jr monofin. Just because they dont sell it anymore on their site which has their newer monofins doesnt make it a knock off. They have better options now, this isnt a new video for one, and she bought a basic fin. Kids arent caring about speed they are just wanting to look nice and swim somewhat in their tail lol. Well most kids. Mine wants the fancy newest add 15 to get it monofin for her first tail.

I really like the fin fun mermaid tail. I never used another company because I'm so used to the monofin and the skin design.
My mom made me a mermaid tail back around 2015-17. She was supposed to make my sister one as well but never made it though she did buy us those cheap pink and purple monofins for us. We've grown out of them eventually but I remember how fun my tail was. I'm 16 now and we're planning on making one for each three of us this year and buying the fantasea fin 3 from mertailor! I know a lot more about tails now so I know these are probably only made for kids but adults could also use the tails I just prefer bigger and floppyer flukes made of silicone.
If you want a REAL review, look up the specific monofin you want to buy and pick a video from just about any other youtuber. Don’t trust her, this video is practically just one big ad.

Cecil Stoudt she already did a review on that and the dolphin. She also did a review on the old finfun and some of these models, too but I guess she’s just redoing them. I think she should have included the mahina, anyway

4:37 There is neoprene socks for monofins like the Mahina ,monofins from Finiss ,Suntails and stuff like that. Without the neoprene socks with monofins that aren’t made made out of plexiglass or lots of neoprene it may hurt you. If you don’t want to get neoprene socks and you don’t want to get burns or scars you can always use normal socks might fell a bit weird just a bit (lots weird) it can be slippery but what would be best if you don’t want it to be slippery, burns, scars and you don’t want neoprene socks there’s socks with silicone at the bottom and it will make it much easier with the silicone however. This channel is notorious for bashing finfun. A lot of claiming it's just a toy.
Cali Calico they want to push their own brand because they are a similar price point. The thing I don’t like is that they try to pretend that aquamermaid isn’t their brand and that they are reviewing with an outside perspective. I don’t trust any of their reviews with an aquamermaid product in it.
Hey Adora agreed. The fact they reviewed their own product, without naming anything bad or any disadvantages about it, really says something. Fin fun is an amazing brand. They are competitors, but although fin fun has never spoken about them, aqua mermaid always gives negative reviews on fin fun. I don’t trust any reviews they make about fin fun or aqua mermaid. I feel like fin fun honestly cares about their customers, but aqua mermaid is just in it for the money

Please don’t listen to the false information spread about fin fun. The monofin she showed looks like it’s been messed with greatly, their monofins do not move that weakly underwater. I highly recommend fin fun, safety is their number one priority.

Thank you so much for this review, it really hnarrows my choices down. I have a tail from suntails, but want another, better monofin that gives more challenge to my body/core/legs. I'm quiet a good swimmer, though I have knee problems so the mòst challenging fin is not a good Idea voor me. I'm thinking of the Linden for adults, the Aquamermaid (intermediate), the hydra or the luna. Do you know if there is a monofin for me, that also fits in the suntail? I'm women's size 7,5.
Can you use the Finish fin in your tail? Or do you recommend them for training only? For the aquamermaid fin, can you use them in other tails?
I got the green version from that Pink China one becouse i found it in te store for €5 and becouse i wanted to learn mermaid swimming,do you think i can use it to learn it?
I have buy a some fin but I have not try them on will monofin work better for me then the fin why I ask as I have a accident long time back that do some to me when I try swim so I look for anything that can help me to swim

I have really tiny feet (size 6) and I use the Finis Mermaid fin. I have swam for 3 hours straight going laps around the pool in my spandex mermaid tail and its really not bad! My only issue is the strap, just like the aquarius in your video, the straps constantly fall off my feet and Im not sure how to make them stay on. I've tried elastic too to try to make it stay on and it just keeps slipping off.
I tryed this pink china rubish, it was so funny to swim with..., that i bought the neopren monofin from finfun. But its a little bit to soft. I'm from switzerland. So it is difficult, to find some mermaid stuf.

Yes, it is normal, your heels should be outside of the fin. This is how the product is designed

You should do an updated video showing finfuns pro and amp fin. We are looking at that company for Ivy (beginner mermaiding but strong swimmer) and shes begging for the amp fin which boasts better propulsion than their other fins.

I'm an adult recovering from a medical problem wanting a low impact excercise for my core. I am very comfortable swimming though never tried a mermaid kick, but it seems like a good exercise.
What fin would you suggest for a workout fin for a relatively small pool (15' diameter) that prioritizes quick and easy removal in an emergency?

I would recogmend either a finfun or a linden.
Finfun: gentle swimming and super quick release
linden: more durable for long term, fairly quick release and comfortable, individual foot pockets.
Don’t trust aquamermaid, that’s for sure. It’s just a hoax to get you to buy their products. I think the fin fun is a very good one for beginners, and it’s easy to use and very forgiving!
QUESTION: have anyone tried to propel themselves out of the water ? Can monofin + speed + deep water = propelling out of the water is possible?
If you can get a high enough speed and strong kick it could be possible, but I don’t think it’s been done.

omg i have the pink and purple one( from china) lol.... : ) except my strap was thicker and it was not elastic it was more secure and had clip in clasps to connect it.

It stays together really well for me and I’ll put my tail skin on it and it’s actually really good, bendable and flexible and you get a lot of power from it

I have a Luna monofin, it has just brokken!
I think it was intirely my own fault for miss handling it, but here's what you never do to a finis Luna:
DONT carry your Finis Luna monofin around in its straps, that's how you break it in only two days of use. 😭
Other then that it was amazing, super comfy and beautiful, for the two times I got to use it. RIP my Finis Luna, if I don't fix it... Somehow? 😔
I think you can fix it. Is it like just apart or completely broken? If apart, there should be something that connects it. If completely broken, you could glue it, but not all glue works. Make sure to get a glue that doesnt stick off while in water, like super glue or similar, but not elmers glue, it sticks off, thats all I can help with. Just tell me how the break looks and maybe I can help you. No joke, its possible.
I hope you messaged them! Mine broke the first use, so I messaged them and they sent me out a new one within a week!
@@3.14applepi it's a silicone tail. Hot glue and Elmer's will not work, the only thing that fixes silicone is silicone.

My friend let me try her Funfin mono fin once... It was really weird for me, ive been training with regular diving fins and im used to swimming with pretty solid material that have that bit of weight. And her fin felt too light and floppy for me.
I love my finfun. Personally I don't have your problem but I guess we all have different experiences

But the straps always hurt and blister in add I always loose the fin...
Try wearing like those leg things and put them around where your getting rubbed. Or try cutting a sock to the right size so it's like a band that covers over where you get the rashes. Mine don't give me rashes but I hope this helps you! :)

AquaMermaid sii son preciosas las colas...pero te digo tengo una preciosa de aliexpres es cerrada pero el monofin que entra en muy incomodo....probe el fin fum y se adapta pero no se si dentro del agua...me funcionara ya que he visto videos que hay chicas que usan distintos monofin....para muchas colas ...

Their monofin is much more soft that gives me extreme comfort, stiff that it gives me so much power, speed, and control, flexible and durable and lasts long.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY,
IT IS SAFE BECAUSE IT HAS THE QUICK RELEASE METHOD AND IS LIGHTWEIGHT MEANING THAT IT WON'T SINK YOU, AND HAS ONE OF THE MOST REALISTIC LOOKING SCALES SINCE THE SCALES REFLECT THE LIGHT.
ALSO IT IS BOUYANCY NEUTRAL.
THAT'S THE REASON WHY
ALL THE OTHER MERMAID TAILS ARE DANGEROUS BECAUSE THEY SINK WHEN YOU LEAVE THEM AT THE WATER AND IT HAS LOCKS THAT SECURES YOUR FEET TOO MUCH THAT IT'S HARD OR EVEN IMPOSSIBLE TO GET REMOVE IT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.

I have the fin fun and the pink Chinese one. The pink one doesn’t really flow in the water and it seems very easy to break. I think I will get the Aqua Mermaid fin.

...just don’t. Her monofins are actually fairly dangerous and don’t always work to well. Like he person above me said, I’d recommend the linden.
