waffle033 Karkat once had black feelings for John. When he confronted John about them John didn't recuperate say that he's "not a homosexual" (Im not trying to be rude, that just what John says). Karkat was really torn up about it. He also had a huge flush crush on Terezi but things didn't go well with them and a matespritship ether never happened or it just didn't work so that also really tore up his heart (I'm not tottaly sure what happened to them, I just know that the relationship didn't work out).
