There were around 15 counters, but only 6 counters were actively used.
Your Univ and course?
I am going to Illinois tech,Chicago for MS in CS
Low ranked university possible to get the visa approval...my visa interview on 7 th aug please any help
If it "Low Ranked" University, then just prepare an answer as to why you chose the university. Provide unique reasons like - Faculty, Research facility, Curriculum that aligns with your area of interest, etc. Also, be prepared to face questions related to your chosen field.

If you’re going to pursue your bachelors, they’ll be asking you about the course you’re planning to pursue and questions regarding the field.

I personally do not think that location has any factor to getting accept or rejects.
I've had a friend who thought the same and booked slots in delhi but still got rejected.
It all comes down to how you're able to present yourself to the interview officer and answer all questions.
Just be bold and confident.
Practice with your family and friends.

Chennai is good for refusal students?
I don't think location has anything to do with approving or rejecting VISA. In case of refusal, if you can provide a solid background for your profile and understand what went down in the previous interview, you'll be able to handle your next interview pretty well.
