I graduated in 1982 from th Grossmont district and they never considered adding air conditioning. September was brutal every year. One classroom at the back of campus didn't even have windows. One door propped open at the front. Ah, good times.
Global warming wasn’t as bad, and classrooms were not over packed in the 80’s. Stop adding anecdotes from last century, no one cares what it was like when Molly ringworm was your queen.
It's like mini-splits don't exist for the pencil pushers that can't change the oil in their own cars. Simple fix for any blue collar guy that isn't trying to sell an HVAC contract.
It’s not a problem with the hvac systems, it’s the strain on the grid. Not enough power to go around. Simple fix from a white collar guy trying to make the big picture work.
@@Coconutca white collars can pound sand. Big picture my foot. How did we end up with a strain on the power grid in the first place with all those big brain big picture white collar useless overpaid helpless geniuses running things??
I went to that school from 2014-2018 and let me tell you something: the heat is real and all they did was just open the door so that hopefully the wind will cool us off. It didn't.
My taxes in unincorporated North county definitely is not going to schools there, so you would think I'd taxation from where I live is funneled to the City that it may as well let the army Corp of engineers come in and build a new school in three weeks.
If only there was time we’re the kids and teachers were no on campus when all of these systems could have been upgraded! And If only the state would give money for it?! WTF SDCOE is a JOKE.
Maybe everyone in Iraq should have been given the option to have air conditioning. It's sad these kids can't handle a little heat, it's not like they're wearing 50+ pounds of gear in 130 degree heat.
I mean really.... so what. At least they have a school. We can't even open schools I. PUERTO RICO. You know that part of America you guys sometimes pretend to care about. And once they are open NO AC.
Bullshit. These kids are low priority that’s all. We’re watching massive complexes being thrown up left & right all over the city.. but this school can’t get AC. 🫠 Sure Jan.
Unlike Hoover high & many others, I took some summer classes there years ago & it’s one of the oldest school that hasn’t been updated to this day.
I bet the principal’s office has AC 😂
Probably chillin with their feet on the table watching tv😂
As a student of this school, yes the principal does have AC. It's actually not funny at all, it's frustrating.
The buildings are not 140 years old, though. They probably never needed AC before.
Get these kids a AC NOW !!!! Smh
Wtf kind of school has no AC😂😂
I graduated in 2011. I never seen an ac
what small school did u go to in sdhs?
@@Carlos0814 why?
Never had air conditioning in school till college!
Wow! I remembered my high-school closed at exactly 103 temperature. That's insane they're expecting them to concentrate through that.
These kids don't stand a chance
Is better for them to do online until school gets AC for them. Is not worth it for them to expose their lives with this heat wave.

Cool zones? How about not mismanaging educational funds. Plans? How about doing the right thing beforehand. Those kids are our future.

That’s when the kids riot and go home
Don't send the kids in
when zones are put up its never good

Hey,
They’ll be alright
Is that your answer to everything that has to do with kids?
@@Coconutca it has to do with anyone still alive
Isn’t this typical for ghetto America lol
Typical comment from someone from a trailer park lol
Thanks so much for tNice tutorials video, it helped so much!
Probably because of all the kids smoking weed
Poor little snowflakes ❄️ are all gonna melt...
What a jerky thing to say.
What a loser thing to say
The kids are right, they have better standards than you low class types.

Lmao what? These are students, not soldiers. Find somewhere else to do your sad bootlicking.
The most hilarious part is that soldiers did have air conditioning or at least some cooling in Iraq in their mobile tents
“I don’t know what the problem is”-a child who doesn’t know about budgets yet
The problem isn’t the budget it’s the grid. Not enough power
If that was the actuak problem then the principal wouldn’t have AC, but he does according to students 🤷♀️
