I'm not familiar with this artist, but with this cover he actually gets it. The other covers i've seen (aside from The Band one or two others - which are excellent) miss the mark, although still displaying good technique etc
All time favorite song, one of my all time favorite singers/artist..... and it DID NOT fail to deliver. LOVE THIS. Thank you Brian Fallon, as always. Cranking this one up again for the ppl i love but can't see.
I'd like to thank Brian for always singing his heart out. His voice, songs and bands have meant the world to me and my close family for the past 15 years. Through good times and bad he's always made it stick and very, very few people can do that anymore. Please keep writing; your impact on music is more important than you'll ever know. I'll be in the crowd next time you're down in Asbury singing my heart out for those who aren't here anymore. If you can stop the crowd for a second and tell all of us that people, music, hope, and love matters it would mean the world to a lot of your fans. RIP to my brother and best friend I could ever ask for Jesse. I miss you every day and nothing will be the same without you.
Fallon is able to do something that very few artists can ever truly accomplish. By this I mean being able to make his work show the audience a piece of his soul.
Unlike Bruce Springsteen who never had a real job but acts like he was some kinda of “working class hero”. Bruce is a limousine liberal who lives a huge mansion and calls Hollywood and Washington DC elites his closest friends. There’s nothing “rock-n-roll” about that. Brian is authentic.
I love Fallon, but he lacks the force to sing this song. This song is angry first and sad second when done right. He just sings it sad. Kinda why the Boss is the boss. Love Brian Fallon though.
Poor. Literally messing up the chords from the start. Even his guitarist wasn't impressed. On top of that he can't sing in tune! This guy has got to be the most over-rated musician out there. Absolutely mind blowing how many people rate this!
I come back to this video multiple times a day. It’s seemingly one of the very few things getting me through the current rough times.

How’s life treating you now ? I’ve been there too

I hope you’re doing great.
Love the harmonies and the sound of the 12 string on this.
The pain of playing a 12 string really pays off against that midget guitar.
Just discovered this brilliant cover, Love it just as much as his own tunes, Bruce would be proud 😍
Someday he needs to just make a Bruce Springsteen cover album. 😍😍😍😍 Who agrees?
He does have the voice that fits with the songs of the Boss.
Support this
He needs to put his own spin on Nebraska
No he needs to more of himself 👎
That would be amazing. I think brian is the bruce of our generation

Amazing! This is one of the best songs I have ever heard. It touches heart and soul 💜
This is my favorite cover ever!
Best Coverversion I ever heard. Great
Thank Heavens for Y/T. Seen Bruce six times, and Brian once in Manchester 2019. Just wish like a few i could do this. Great link/post.
I love Brian Fallons music
God I love him...
This song is awesome, thank you the band 🤯
Beautiful version.
the boss would be proud 😌✊
He probably is proud, he knows Gaslight Anthem and has performed with them even
Great! Thanks for sharing!
Love this
That Martin sounds incredible!
Great rendition!
That was awesome.
I was just thinking the other day "why doesn't brian fallon cover Atlantic City, it's the perfect song for him"
This cover made me a fan of you Brian, please cover more springsteen. youve GOT IT!
Great performance! There should be more gigs from Bruce and The Gaslight Anthem! Jersey-boys! ;)
Amazing cover. I’m sure Bruce is well proud:-)
Thunder road please
one of the best covers of Bruces "ATLANTIC CITY", hey Brian there is a long list of suitable Springsteens songs to cover. :-)
No.... No it was not.
Awesome performance!
I love the solo swap from intro to a much more difficult pre-solo slide, hammer-on trill
… both already appeared on stage… worth to see & remember
💖 Beautiful. ☺x
needs a 7" vinyl release...!
great background as well
Sings from the heart Sings from the soul Must be his Irish blood
See you soon in Bremen!
Wow
Always has to tune down. Remarkable.
that guy's harmonies are great
That's Jared Hart
Jared Hart and B. Fallon are a dream.
Do you have any more videos of this set?
I just posted "A Wonderful Life" from the same session, pagon22. ua-cam.com/video/wiw8hJ09hTU/v-deo.html
OK - make my cry - :-(
This son es bueno
Every time I wanna cover this song I remember Brian already did it and tbh I don’t think I can top that lol
I enjoyed his accent in the singing , fair play
Jarod Hart on rhythm guitar. The Bayonne Bruiser.
I really hope Brian spends his spare time working in a New Jersey blue collar garage.

Brian is authentic.
anybody got the tabs to that riff?!
Mike Stack nope but I want them too
Beat. Cover. Ever.
I hope he realises how good he is.
Brian Fallon/Gaslight is awesome

Repeat
boa
Nope. He has his own voice.
Not good
Pains me to say this but wow, this was pretty flat.
Honestly, i was expecting better. I love Bruce and Brian, but Levon did it best, hands down.
Finally a honest comment. It was flat and soulless.
This wasn’t natural. Someone probably paid him a lot a cash to do this. Brian’s talent is miles above Bruce’s.
I love Fallon, but he lacks the force to sing this song. This song is angry first and sad second when done right. He just sings it sad. Kinda why the Boss is the boss. Love Brian Fallon though.
2 chords in and he messed up. Soulless.
