I was at that Hyde Park gig when Bruce played the 59 Sound with the Gaslight Anthem it was brilliant, I discovered them because of that, I feel in love with them fantastic such an underrated band! ❤
When I got "London Calling Live In Hyde Park" I saw Brian for the first time. And I searched on YT and I found a lot, I mean A LOT of good music from them, including their cover of "Changing Guards". After that I bought even their DVD "Live In London" - sadly, too short recording. Thanks to Bruce I discovered TGA. Thanks to Bruce for that, thanks TGA for your existence!
I was in the tent at Glastonbury, Brian is playing down their own drawer. John Peel Tent is a big a deal and a lot of people were there for GA and they were outstanding! Then Brian with Bruce was so so cool!
Same! I saw them in 2009 and as soon as I heard the opening riff to Great expectations I was like, that's it, I'm done, I'm sold. Through that, Springsteen kind of made his way into my life as well, so I'm very grateful to them for that. Brian has always been good at pointing backwards, talking about his influences and making a (very humble) point of "we didn't come up with this stuff"
I’ve been listening to TGA since ‘08 and I’m finally getting to see them for the 1st time this May!! Haven’t been this pumped for a concert in a long time!! Brian Fallon is a lyrical genius.
This is amazing.. Brian fallon is fantastically truthful and a great story teller, you can see what it meant to him and how big a fan of Bruce he is.

Screw the haters. The first time I saw Brian was the London concert singing "No Surrender". Seen Brian 40 times since.
The artist who speaks directly to my soul.
