I seriously hope some fan translators out there eventually translate the Japanese version of this game in the near future, as I'd love to know what in the hell it's about. While I'm aware of its actual English release, Osman, the game is in Engrish to the point of absurdity. Well, anyway, nice playthough.
The real Strider 2 is awesome, no need to trash it (Strider Returns meanwhile, is awful). Yes, this game is great, so is Run Saber (the same guy behind Strider may have been behind that one too), but is not in the same universe as Strider.
@@Bloodreign1 It is, Cannon-Dancer, as was officially detailed in the Strider project draft as well as multiple interviews done with Kouichi Yotsui, is considered a part of the Strider universe along with Moon Divers on the PS3/X360. Hell, honestly, I'd argue it's more of a prequel than a sequel, but that's something I'd like to research further upon first before making any definitive statements.

Obviously, this could be nothing more than gracefully paying respects for the character, but then again it's not the first time they'd try to tie in SF with a more futuristic approach. *cough cough Street Fighter 2010 cough cough* What would really amuse me, however, would be seeing Megaman also being a part of that, simply because Dr. Light appearently knows Ansatsuken well enough to pass Hadouken and Shoryuken on to X. It's really a shame that MVCI flopped as hard as it did, but man... seeing X in awe hearing the cypher slashes just as Hiryu appears in front of him makes me realize we were so much, f*cking, robbed of having more interactions like that outside of that game. His departure from Capcom shortly after creating Strider doesn't suggest anything but minimal involvement in later projects. Notably, Yotsui hasn’t publicly discussed any collaboration with Capcom in later years. I'm actually quite surprised that he has even openly addressed plot elements, despite the legal complexities surrounding interconnecting corporate-owned IPs with his own independent works. But then again, Suda51 did the same for a time, so who knows? Perhaps they're on good enough terms to let him get away with it. Taking that into account, I'm not sure about his involvement with other IPs aside from the ones that he's officially listed to have worked on. The divergence between later lore developments (which I dub the “Yotsui-verse”) and Capcom’s direction makes me question that theory, so if he was present directly or indirectly, I doubt Capcom would’ve taken the plot for, say, Strider 2014, in the direction they took it story-wise. Personally, when I look for plot consistency, I prioritize insights from the specific creators over corporate narratives. So I don't necessarily discourage you from thinking so, given that, again, corporations and, by extension, publishers can cause a lot of mess to please certain audiences where they see the money's green, but based on my knowledge, it doesn't seem likely to me. But if there's anything strong enough to support it, don't hesitate to present it. I simply advise being careful when handling these subjects and going above and beyond to avoid superficial conclusions.

Their older uploads were usually uploaded raw to UA-cam. If you go to their website you'll find the original recordings, which are both at the original resolutions without UA-cam's blurriness AND at 60fps, no ads. You will have to adjust the aspect ratio yourself, though.
