Thanks for the info but if the source files are not already in 4k and you try and export in 4k with the 265 method, it will not allow me to do this. Once I select H265 it defaults back to my standard 1920x1080
Under the Format options, make sure you have "match source" selected. By default, this should be set to "match source", but you might have it changed before for some reason. @@Framethreesixteen Thanks, I think its because the video source is 1980 from the start.
Hey
Does the H.265 loose the video quality compared to H.264?
With the comparisons that I have done, it does not lose video quality. It just uses a new codec therefore it exports faster.
would that not make any difference in quality or color of the footage?
this would be a good reference in terms of how it is better www.stellarinfo.com/article/h264-vs-hevc-for-video-compression.php
You are amazing!
hey thanks glad to help!
I tried this with my 1980 ×1080 video resolution but instead of it encoding through hardware it automatically switched to Software Encoding at it became too slow.
amazing video brother. appreciate your help
Is it on all versions of premier pro?
tried this on the last 4 versions
Thanks for tips bro
Happy to help! thanks for watching!
nice tutorial tnx
Until you have a lot of compositing and effects. Adobe Premiere is pretty lousy sometimes causing glitches. Is better to fully render and then export to lower res for approvals.
that is one of the many ways to do it 👍
That was an awesome tip, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks
Bro for me it's 9 hours to export one music video 😂😂 it never used to be like that lol used to take like 20 mins. I have 16gbs ram and core i7
Yeah, I used to work on a 16GB RAM before, but its not cutting it anymore, I have a 64GB M1 Max now and it exports faster even with maximum resolution set.
@@Framethreesixteen could you maybe recommend a decent laptop that isn't apple? might be time for an upgrade but not a fan of being restricted by apple products
@@Framethreesixteen but also i noitced that premiere doesnt even use most of the ram when exporting. so it may just be the processor
