Hello, thank you for watching. I did see a video on UA-cam about how to do this. I believe it can be easily done if you buy the harness from Custom Dynamics that I didn’t use shown in this video www.customdynamics.com/led-driving-light-bar-wire-harness. You can route the harness under the tank. Instead of using the attached switch you can route it to the auxiliary console switch. In fact, I could sell you the one I didn’t use. Let me know. I hope this helps.
Great video. I am installing the same light on the 2023 Harley Davidson Street Bob. Originally, I was going to illuminate said light when the high beam of the headlight was on; but I was told that it was illegal in my State and that it could on be illuminated when the low beam was on. The high beam has a total of four bright elements (2 in each bulb and in my State only four high intensity bulbs could be illuminated at any one time. Illuminating the LED strip light when the high beams are on would yield a total of six bright lights on at the time; thus illegal. Illuminating the LED strip light when the low beam of the headlight would yield four high intensity elements at on time which is legal). Have you encountered such a law in your State?

Thanks for the feedback. I will do a bit of research today. I don’t think we have such a law in California.
