A great ride out for a late breakfast with the Lifestyle Cycles Riding Group to the famous Cook's Corner in Traduce Canyon. Very short ride today, but it was great to see everyone. We took the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Train for a great day out to Old Town San Diego for the Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration. Had an awesome lunch at the Old Town Mexican Cafe.

@@chrisplumridge5808 I was going to use that song. The line at Phillippes went fairly quickly, and well worth it. I thought you were going to say something about the wind muffs on our microphones. lol

@@NigelMellorAh, the big fluffy ball things! I did find myself wondering about how well they would function on an open face helmet - with so much wind passing of them?
@ they work surprisingly well, despite looking like a dandelion.

I had a similar play, but it was side to side, not sure if it was the same play you have here. To eliminate that side to side play, just moved the housing towards the center of the bars until you are comfortable with it.

Mine does the exact same thing, but' it's the other way. And' what I mean by this' is' the handle grip, is loose going back and forth going into casing. Need someone to tell me how to get that fixed.

Put some threadlock on those screws or expect to be buying some new ones😂

@ I can only vouch for throttle by wire. But if the grip is loose on the handlebar this could be a fix.
@NigelMellor perfect mines is throttle by wire so will give it a go cheers
Nobody do this. There is supposed to free play in the throttle. There has been throttle free play for 100 years. This video is the worst info I have ever seen.

I decided to stop eating Christmas pudding quite a few years ago: it’s the wind Nige, it’s the wind😳😳. Well cool key ring: did Jose scan it? Lovely blue skies; it seems like we have had endless months of dull grey skies - we are desperate to see a bit of blue. Excellent ‘outboard shots’ of the bike @ 9:30👍 You need a knife and fork with that burger - it kind of exploded on your plate. Hope the scan goes okay.
@@chrisplumridge5808 I love Christmas pud. I get a small one every year. I’ll suffer the consequences. The key ring is cool. Jose did scan it, but I’m not sure he knows what it is. The weather was great for this ride. Nice and clear if not a bit chilly. Thanks for noticing. I like to experiment with different mounting techniques. For this one I had a clamp on the crash bar and a telescopic extension stick. That burger was messy, but so good. I did end up using a knife and fork.
Cajalco road is a nice ride, it beats taking the freeway the whole time 😉

@@chrisplumridge5808 great questions Chris. My house/garage is the end unit on the tract, which I love. I think the song you’re referring to is Jerk by The Buzzcocks. It’s an earlier track by them. The garage track is Garageland by the Clash. The festive hat that Joey is wearing was knitted by my sister Suzi, if you remember her. I don’t have one.
