- Harley Davidson Road Glide "Level 1" Upgrades Episode 3 - Front Lighting Here we go again! We're cranking through some quick and simple upgrades on the new @harleydavidson Road Glide Special. All of these are quick and easy, I am not even using the bike jack! This one we do all of the front lighting. The headlight, the lower bullet turn signals, the vent lights, and the fang lights up top.

I'm not a RG guy. I've got a 19 CVO SG the wife has a 22 SG Special. I will say I think the bullet turn signals are an awsome improvement over the stock ones. Like your content, stay safe.
I love their lighting, everything they make is really well done. the x pattern would be so cool as a single 5.75" headlight I'd run one for sure haha

How do they perform over the stock light? Distance and side of the road lighting....I can't see crap on the side of the road and distance is lacking big time with the stock light.

I agree on the chrome inserts, if you were to keep the body black. But with the green that you've chosen for the body swap I would keep it all black with the inserts to give it a nice contrast.

Looks good. I just swapped over from a 17 SGS to a barely rode 2109 RGS and alot of the same lights I want. Great stuff and awesome video.

Hi, I recently came across your channel whilst looking at HD Bikes. Im in the UK not far from London. I have owned 3 x Harleys in my motorcycling career. Recently sold my Bonneville T120 so apart from a Vespa 300 i am Bike less.
Im very interested in purchsing a Street Glide but over here in UK they are nearly £25k UK Pounds. My wife just got back from Miami as her sister lives there, She went down to Aligator HD and sent me some videos of bikes etc there. You people have it so good in the US for HD bikes and parts. The video you did showing the lights conversion was fantastic. I am not sure i would be trying it despite you running a tutorial. Great Video content and very interesting. Mark

I'm liking what you've done, I'm waiting for my RGS to arrive from the US, so I'm really digging your current build. I wanted the 19 RG-CVO but that is unlikely as they are near impossible to find, so I bit the bullet on a 20 RGS black in black 114. So all the models your doing are the same, in black, I'm doing. Keep up the great work !!

Just put on the vent lights this winter.
Love Custom Dynamics products too. Big believer in adding more light but not too much if you know what I mean. Ha! Ha! How much brighter is the new headlight versus the stock. Where I live it get pitch black at night and I want as much light as possible with out going to those Baja lights everyone else is doing. Thanks and love seeing the videos.
Looks sharp. As someone that HATES chrome, I think that the chrome vent lights would be a better option as well.
I very much like the upgrades you are doing to your bike.
I must admit I like the baggers but I love the old-school bikes.
I myself ride a. FXDWG. 2912 But I have customised for my style.

I have a 2022 reef blue Road Glide and wanted the black on black vent mesh/light but they were out of stock … so I went with the black with stainless steel mesh! I think it looks pretty good on a blacked out bike !
I also have reef blue rg 2022, I thought I had the only one,, lol
At the 735 mark, When you had that ratchet dangling above an unprotected fender. 😱 Looks good though.

You got me hooked on there lighting I spent $900 at OC bike week last year
I looked at those but went with custom dynamics for brake and all turn signals and hogworks for head lite and fog lites they can't say they don't see mee

Hey pm,i have all custom dynamic lights on the front of my 22 road glide,i have the windshield lights black,the black vent lights,chrome true beam headlights engine guard lights,fork lights. Custom dynamic are the best when it come to lights.

Curious, to see down the road what performance upgrades you go with, and if [at least for the time being] it'll be a "warranty" build? Lots of Stage-2 and Stage-4 builds out there, but not too much about the Stage-3 builds. What would be interesting [& different, as not too much on this kit on UA-cam] would be the HD-SE Stage-3 114-to-122 Kit which comes with the HD-SE Stage-2 Torque Cam. I'd imagine this kit would have pretty darn good low-to-mid range torque, and that HD-SE Torque Cam does have a nice idle "chop".

I said it b4, but I love the low profile engine guards and, no offense, but I hate those big ole monkey bar looking things that look almost the height of the bike. Lights came out nice! 👍🏽
Appreciate the videos man. Love the look of that light. After running it for a while now, what do think about the distance and side illumination ranges? Worth it, or would you recommend a different Custom Dynamics light?
I'm glad they do. I very much prefer them. Not to mention these ridiculously bright headlights that are being put on the front of bikes, cars, and trucks is unnecessary and dangerous.
The head lights remind me of Johnny 5… Johnny 5 is alive hahaha.
I love all these upgrades, but so curious why all the additions now, when your color swapping and going to have to take it all back off? I get it, kid with new toys and just have to play with it all.... Totally agree, HD dropped the ball on safety lighting, I've put thousands of dollars between 2 bikes in extra lighting. worth every penny

I've been interested in these lights. Would be nice to see how much light they actually provide at night. How does it perform vs the Attack Cyclops light you installed from Hogworkz? Stock RGS head light sucks.

Which do you prefer. The Road Glide or the Street Glide? I love my Batwing Fairing but I'm digging the look of the Road Glide.

Actually the bolt behind the speaker grill is a T30. A 27 will work tho. I lost a 5$ bet bc I thought it was a T 27 too and I’m telling you so you won’t possible lose a bet as well

I am a huge fan of CD lighting. I did the black windshield, and vent lights on my Laguna Orange RG. I too am a chrome fan, but thought the black against the orange looked better.

With all the noisemakers in your neighborhood it might be time for a mini split A/C in your garage. That way you could close the door and not feel like you’re in a blast furnace while recording.

@@ProfessionalMonkey gotcha, you at least go in and knock the pin in to adjust the bars or you good with that position? I’ve had my dominator bars for over a year and can’t find the time to change them out with the stockers. Can’t stand the position of the stockers

Ask you local Harley-Dealer, they should use Parts Europe/Drag Specialties. Or give Parlour Supply Co a shout in Manchester. All of these can source it, it’s how I get mine 👍
