The Wilshire Grand Center is a 73-story 1,100 feet skyscraper building in Downtown Los Angeles. This is one of the newest skyscraper building that opened in 2017. The 1,100 height that includes the iconic spire makes this building the tallest west of the Chicago. The Wilshire Grand Center is home to office space, rooftop bars, restaurants and the Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel. I want to compliment you on a few things you did REALLY well in this vid. First of all, you have a calm, steady voice. I always think loud content creators are annoying to viewers (who would sub?!) and a public menace to the poor souls who happen to be near them filming. I appreciate the courtesy in your controlled but audible voice volume. Second, thank you for filming horizontally and with a steady hand. Third, you knew and were able to describe what directions you were actually facing, so I was able to pick out Wilshire Blvd/Koreatown to the west without you explicitly calling it out. Thanks. As someone who has never been to LA, I really enjoyed this.

Hello.. a bit late but I have two questions about this amazing spot.. where can you park? And is the lobby accessible 24/7? Thank you in advance.. 🙏 🤲
I would park at the parking structure FIGAT7TH. It’s a shopping mall right across the street from the Wilshire Grand Center. The parking rates vary. If you go in the evening after 4pm or all day weekends, you could pay $11.00 maximum or $6.00 with validation (I would validate from Target). Other than that 1st hour is a $1, 2nd hour is $2.50 and 3rd hour is $4 if you validate only. If not, be expect to pay up to $36 as the daily maximum. That’s my favorite spot to park when I’m in downtown. I’ve paid $6 when I was at the LA Auto Show on the weekend back in November. I’ve been to the lobby late at night after watching the Lakers game close by around 10pm so I wouldn’t think you would have any problem if you go this late at night. Hope this helps! The idea that this is the tallest building in LA is not really true IMO. The top occupied floor of this building is not higher than the "third tallest building" AON and is not taller than the "second highest building " US Bank. They put a spire on the Wilshire Grand to make it the tallest building but I don't count that really as part of the building. Its like Danny Devito wearing a hat with a 3 foot 6 inch broom stick attached and claiming he is taller than a 6 foot tall man
I thought us bank tower had one was going to dre that but then they wanted to build taller
Is the 70th floor open to the public as of 2023? If so do you have to pay a fee in advance to visit??

@@hugot9775 YES! So worth it. Went up back on 3/25/22 day and night. Night is fantastic with the skyline views, and get truffle fries and a shierly temple at the bar too!

Spire 73 which is a rooftop bar that is the tallest in the Western Hemisphere and you need a reservation in advance.
