Thank you so much for the wonderful video. Please try to make more and more videos on BIOCHEMISTRY AND ANATOMY.... these are very volatile... It gets easier better with unplugged video and correlation
i am a med student hating biochemistry right now, and i came here just to quickly review the needed basics for my exam. I thought to myself “20 min is too long”. but god damn i can’t stop watching. really really well explained. thank your very much. I hope u write a biochem book yourself so some of us students won’t be forced to use harpers biochemistry anymore 😅😂
Sir I like your videos a lot, Sir I want one thing that is pleasse don't tell the diagnosis in title. I am sorry sir you are doing so much hardwork but this is one thing that I want.
I am a 25 year old woman, and concerned that I have MSUD. I have always had this sweet Maple odor when I sweat but not noticeable in urine. I NEVER thought to just google it.. but now I am getting blood work done and very scared. What kind of genetic testing should I request to have done? My background is in Architecture.. so I'm struggling to understand the biochemic terminology....Anyone out there with an adult diagnosis? If I do have it, I assume it's a less severe version - but I'm nervous the blood test might miss it and things could get worse? Especially neurologically.
under normal circumsatnces, why would leucine need to enter the brain in the first place? in the restricted diet, there is no leucine at all. is it needed?
Can someone explain why only myelinated areas are affected ?? Basically all neurotransmitters are decreased ..So why nt other part of brains are affected ???
My son had the early symptoms, most noticeably the urine that smelled like maple syrup. When he was little i had to switch from breast feeding to a formula as i was eating a high protein diet that made him fussy. We lived in a rural town in the midwest so the doctor just kept telling us he would grow out of it. As he got older, If he didn't want to eat certain meats we didn't push it so his symptoms stayed fairly minimal. From my own research it seems he has a very mild form as there is no retardation, but i would like to find a way to get the genetic testing to confirm this.
Sumer sir is so humble.. he tries to learn from every faculty like student.
