I have similar model 2009, my fob key was damaged so i changed the 1k0937087 comfort control module which stores the key codes and communicates with remote entry, I used one from another wrecked Skoda Octavia MK2 i own which had a good Fob, I can now open boot lid and open and lock doors, no other issues found so far.

I try with skoda fabia 2018. Swap comfort module. I need lerning only remote key.
