    Hi guys, this is an update video on my Clarifying VS Chelating Video.
    I finally found a cruelty free clarifying shampoo in India.
    WATCH MY LAST VIDEO HERE:
    CLARIFYING VS CHELATING (THE DIFFERENCES)
    • FINAL WASH, CLARIFYING...
    Now, you must be wondering, surely there is some difference between Olefin Sulfate and Olefin Sulfonate (present in Requil shampoos). Surely, they're not the same. How can we consider the Requil shampoos to be clarifying in nature? Here's some research on why Olefin Sulphonate can be considered just as cleansing & stripping as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). This makes the Requil shampoos a perfect choice for clarifying. I would not recommend them as a regular wash CG friendly shampoo.
    Best part is the brand is cruelty free and so they're the perfect choice for clarifying, if you are a cruelty free consumer.

    A few other cruelty free clarifying shampoos available in India:
    1. Faith in Nature shampoos (containing ammonium laureth sulphate)
    2. Fab India Honey Oatmeal shampoo (containing sodium lauryl ether sulphate)
    3. Love beauty planet shampoos (containing sodium laureth sulfate)

      Can you please help a guy out?
      Of these four shampoos which one do you recommend for a guy with straight hair? Also please mention whether I should use them daily or sparingly as you have said.

      @@stonecaper ok so unless you have an allergic reaction to a certain ingredient in a shampoo, it can neither cause nor stop hairfall.
      Hairfall occurs due to various reasons such as hereditary genetics, stress, scalp buildup, a clogged scalp, hormonal issues etc.
      I have a video on hairfall which you could check out.
      (If you still want a switch your shampoo, you can switch to the moms co shampoo. Use it once in 5-7 days, and clarify once a month with a sulphate shampoo like the ones I've listed ago.

    Hi Michelle. I stumbled upon your UA-cam channel a few weeks ago and I just can't put in words how much of a pleasure it's been watching your videos!
    I found almost every answer to my questions regarding CG method. One thing that I really wish to know better about is hair colouring when you follow the CG method. I think your hair color is amazing and it goes perfect with those beautiful curls. It'd really be very nice if you can make a video on hair colourin, sometime maybe?
    Lots of love!
    PS. You're an amazing singer too! :P

    Hi Michelle,
    I have been following you for a week now and I'm convinced you give the honest reviews. I even bought some cg products you had recommended. Thanks for that, please continue the good work.
    The question I have now is that, I find it very hard to remove the oil from my hair after oiling my hair. The shampoos that are completely cruelty free do not lather well and does not remove the oil as it isn't that strong. I am confused as to what a clarifying shampoo does exactly and not sure if clarifying shampoo you suggested here will help in this. Please help me out.
    If there is any other video i should refer to, that will also help. 🙏🏻

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  2 роки тому

      I do not believe the cruelty free status of a brand has anything to do with how much lather it gives you.
      Did you mean to write cg friendly?
      If you're oiling your full lengths, no cg shampoo will remove the oil. I've demonstrated how I prepoo my hair in a couple of videos. I only focus it on the scalp region.
      Also I've spoken about other clarifying options in my latest video, my video on shampoos and in the pinned comment of this video.

    Hey, sugarboo cleansing shampoo is sulphate free but it is on clarifying side (you said in your video). I have oily scalp, gets flaky. I ordered it, & it's a deal of sugarboo conditioner & cleansing shampoo of 100 ml in ₹350. Now, I'm understanding about sulphate & all. Now should I cancel it or not.

    can we just use the normal shampoos that we have been using till now with sulphates to clarify once in a while?? For eg. i had been using loreal before starting CG...it cleanses properly and my hair is used to it frm years of use, so maybe once in a while i could just clarify with that??

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  2 роки тому +1

      Your normal shampoo will have silicones. When you're clarifying, one of the things trying to get rid of is silicone buildup/residual silicones. So it will be counter-productive.

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  Рік тому +1

      Yes when the quantity in the formulation is significant, it would perform as a chelating agent. But in these hair products it's been added as a pH adjuster, emulsion stabilizer and preservative. You'll see many conditioners, body lotions, serums and moisturizers have this ingredient. It's also present in some leave in conditioners.
