    Just made this, almost to spec, and it was FANTASTIC. It took me about 15 minutes because I let the cauliflower simmer and soften up a bit longer (I didn't cut it small enough). I added pita bread to scoop with because I didn't have any naan around. Awesome recipe and super easy! Thanks!

    FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.These are god recipes, but I have not ONCE seen you cook anything. No matter how big your fire is, you have not COOKED the contents of your pan. AND Curry is the one thing that benefits from a long cooking period. Anyone reading this, keep that shit on the fire for an hour AT LEAST or you'll fart bland undercooked cauliflower later tonight.

    You are crazy boys!!
    I blended the spices and garlic etc in my mini chopper (Lidl). The paste needs to be fried off with the onions for few minutes to take away the raw taste. Then add tinned tomatoes and simmer for a good 15mins. The add the veg and coconut milk and again simmer for 15/20mins. I love a shot of red wine vinegar in a curry too! This curry tastes best the day after it is made.
    But having said all that I get the picture and it is soooo much better, cheaper and healthier to make your own curries ;o)))

    I can't believe you said "we are using vegan yogurt but use whatever yogurt you like"
    The animals in the cages, the cow and her slaughtered baby say thank you for possibly encouraging to use dairy yogurt.
    I would suggest next time to either leave the yogurt out (its delicious anyway), or recommend plant based yogurt (its anyway healthier and doesn't give cancer like dairy one)

    Thanks for keeping it vegan & letting people know they can go cholesterol saturated fat animal products if they want - instead of the other way around. Always pimping the healthiest options. You dudes rock!

    • @ObjectiveMedia
      @ObjectiveMedia 6 років тому +3

      I respect vegans who don’t eat meat because they don’t agree with the immorality/cruelty of factory farming, but you can’t spout pseudo-science about eating meat being universally “unhealthy”. You have to understand that fat (saturated and unsaturated) and cholesterol are essential dietary nutrients. Lol. Stop trying to make out that being vegan means you’re automatically healthier than being an omnivore, because that simply isn’t true. No matter what your bias/ego wants to believe.

    • @espicorn9850
      @espicorn9850 6 років тому

      LiftedSlayer i agree with the fat part, there are many plant based sources of fat... but if we needed cholesterol, vegans would be dead, and there wouldn’t be hundreds of thousands of cases of heart disease. Cholesterol is a level in the body that can be raised by certain foods. It’s not a vitamin or nutrient that has to be consumed through animal products. If you consumed coconut oil, your cholesterol could raise, but coconut oil doesn’t have cholesterol in it.
      Also, obviously vegans aren’t *automatically* healthier! If someone just ate Oreos, spicy sweet chili Doritos and drank soda all day (all vegan), they wouldn’t claim to be healthier.

    • @kasseesmythe8738
      @kasseesmythe8738 6 років тому +5

      Sorry, but the science doesn't agree with you. Epidemiological studies and looking at the diets of the folks who live in the Blue Zones all support whole plant food diets as being the healthier way to live. Some diseases caused by animal product consumption take a fair amount of time to show up, and there are some individuals who seem to be able to withstand their consumption better than the rest of us. But, considering the general population, whole plant food diets HAVE been shown to result in better health.

    • @kasseesmythe8738
      @kasseesmythe8738 6 років тому +1

      That's why many people are now talking about WHOLE plant food diets rather than veganism.

    Please show the final plated meal on a closer shot, it would be good to see what it "should" look like! 😂 It sounds AMAZING and I can't wait to make it. 🙌

    I absolutely love this recipe. I don't often use cauliflower in cooking, but it works so well in this dish! Love seeing what's in the fridge - mushrooms, peppers, courgette etc.. - and just throwing it in the pot. Goes so well with some wholemeal pitta breads and wholegrain rice! Huge fan of yours and love the content!

    Dishes you are cooking are nowhere even close to real authentic dishes and i feel you are even spoiling the original dish BUT for bigginers and for working people its motivational and looks edible . Moreover you call it Tikka Masala but where is Tikka in it 🤣... Its more like a mix-veg dish not Tikka Masala. At least don't change the name of the dishes..
    But if i take out time for cooking then i would rathar spend a bit more time than just 5 minutes and cook properly the real dish.

    Awesome recipe! Personally I don't really care for the 5 minutes mark, sometimes I wish you guys could go a bit slower so I could just cook my dinner while watching the video (my touchpad is covered with tomato paste now from pausing the video :) )... But still, great recipe

    Why worry about peeling a root vegetable? It never gets sprayed with chemicals because it grows in the ground. Just wondering.

    They want us to visit their website for their SEO ranking that’s why 🙄 only the cool UA-camrs place the recipe in the infobox

    Seriously, that flaming fire is stupid, especially if peeps r watching to learn how to cook. Go to a burn unit at a hospital & see the child that was burned by the flame from a stove.

    This looks good but coconut does not agree with me unfortunately. Any alternatives?

    You could just shake the can of coconut milk before slopping it all over the place.. could save a few seconds too...
