Just made this, almost to spec, and it was FANTASTIC. It took me about 15 minutes because I let the cauliflower simmer and soften up a bit longer (I didn't cut it small enough). I added pita bread to scoop with because I didn't have any naan around. Awesome recipe and super easy! Thanks!
You guys have turned me vegan, I've now been vegan for 3 months! I cook all of your 5 minute meal but put my own little twist on them! They're delicious! Keep up the good work :)
Matthew Turnbull congratulations on being 3 months vegan!!!! 💚 I too love their recipes! They definitely keep things from getting boring that's for sure!
Just cooked this! Didn't have any cauliflower so used mushrooms and courgette and some spinach at the end, also instead of oil I used coconut oil. Banging!!
Made this yesterday, have trouble standing up, and it was actually something real that I could prepare and get on the hob quickly. I let it it simmer for 40 minutes though. Was very nice 👍
2nd vlog of yours watching just now! I may have to binge watch all of yours. When did you first start your channel and, how long have you both been Vegan? Thanks so much! Indian food is probably my favorite cuisine next to Korean. BTW, did I see you both collab with Rose of CheapLazyVegan? I could have sworn it was you guys. Hmm? Anyway, I'm digging your style and personalities so far. My grandmother, Dora, may she R.I.P., was from Cork, Ireland! Some day, I'll have to visit there.
Seems to be delicious - but, would you, please, show us the final plating or bowl? With the yogurt, almonds, and coriander - to feast our eyes and to know what we are attempting to replicate?
Hi love your videos, keep them coming, know you have said in the comments that the recipe is n your website but its not. All the recent ones are there like the overnight oats and chocolate strawberries but this isn't. Be great if you could put it on. Love the pics of you guys on IG in the sea each morning, you inspire me to go seize the day.
Hi guys, how can I replace the coconut milk in this type of meals? I'm also soy intollerant. Can I use the almond milk or the avocado for the creaminess? Or both? thanks
This looks great... I'm trying to reduce my meat consumption. I have to laugh though, this must be the 10th video I've watched and it's only just dawned on me that they're brothers, not a couple. DOH !
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.These are god recipes, but I have not ONCE seen you cook anything. No matter how big your fire is, you have not COOKED the contents of your pan. AND Curry is the one thing that benefits from a long cooking period. Anyone reading this, keep that shit on the fire for an hour AT LEAST or you'll fart bland undercooked cauliflower later tonight.
You are crazy boys!! I blended the spices and garlic etc in my mini chopper (Lidl). The paste needs to be fried off with the onions for few minutes to take away the raw taste. Then add tinned tomatoes and simmer for a good 15mins. The add the veg and coconut milk and again simmer for 15/20mins. I love a shot of red wine vinegar in a curry too! This curry tastes best the day after it is made. But having said all that I get the picture and it is soooo much better, cheaper and healthier to make your own curries ;o)))
Ingredients: 1 Tbsp cumin seeds 1 Tbsp coriander seeds green onions/scallions 2 garlic cloves thumb sized piece of ginger 1/2 red chili 1 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp smoked paprika fresh coriander 1 tsp salt 1 can of chopped tomatoes 1 can of coconut milk 1 head of cauliflower Directions: 1. Lightly toast cumin seeds and coriander seeds until fragrant 2. In a blender combine garlic, ginger, chili pepper, coriander stalks, toasted seeds, salt, garam masala, smoked paprika, and can of tomatoes 3. Finely chop scallions and add to a pan over high heat, sauteeing until tender 4. Chop head of cauliflower into bite-sized pieces and add to the pan 5. Chop coriander leaves and add this, along with the masala paste and a can of coconut milk, to the pan and simmer until the cauliflower is tender, ready to eat! *A splash of acid/lemon at the end is optional but encouraged Top with a dollop of dairy free yogurt and feast!
1000 DEGREE FLAME VS STOVE PAN!!! (GONE GOODJOB)!!! (KNIFE CUTTING)!!! (INSANE YIELDS)!!! (MUST SEE)!!!!! HAHA!! Jokes aside, thank you again for a great looking meal. I will be trying this dish soon :D
OMG I made this already, a very similar recipe, the tomatoes, chickpea and cauliflower go sooo well together, especially if you add the soy yoghurt on top! mmmm
Wow ! You guys are like 5 minutes speed train , couldn't catch up with what's the ingredients used . Could you list all the ingredients in your info box please ??! Thanks for sharing ;-)
ive never been able to pull off a good curry recepie, but finalllllllyyyyy thanks to you guys i made a killer vegan cury :') happppy days! love you guys!
Sounds like the taxi driver didn't invent this recipe - only inspired it. Which means the credit is being stolen from the chef in the kitchen who created a way to satisfy a customer's specific need. Props to the Indian chef who is the true creator of this delish dish.
I can't believe you said "we are using vegan yogurt but use whatever yogurt you like" The animals in the cages, the cow and her slaughtered baby say thank you for possibly encouraging to use dairy yogurt. I would suggest next time to either leave the yogurt out (its delicious anyway), or recommend plant based yogurt (its anyway healthier and doesn't give cancer like dairy one)
Thanks for keeping it vegan & letting people know they can go cholesterol saturated fat animal products if they want - instead of the other way around. Always pimping the healthiest options. You dudes rock!
I respect vegans who don’t eat meat because they don’t agree with the immorality/cruelty of factory farming, but you can’t spout pseudo-science about eating meat being universally “unhealthy”. You have to understand that fat (saturated and unsaturated) and cholesterol are essential dietary nutrients. Lol. Stop trying to make out that being vegan means you’re automatically healthier than being an omnivore, because that simply isn’t true. No matter what your bias/ego wants to believe.
LiftedSlayer i agree with the fat part, there are many plant based sources of fat... but if we needed cholesterol, vegans would be dead, and there wouldn’t be hundreds of thousands of cases of heart disease. Cholesterol is a level in the body that can be raised by certain foods. It’s not a vitamin or nutrient that has to be consumed through animal products. If you consumed coconut oil, your cholesterol could raise, but coconut oil doesn’t have cholesterol in it. Also, obviously vegans aren’t *automatically* healthier! If someone just ate Oreos, spicy sweet chili Doritos and drank soda all day (all vegan), they wouldn’t claim to be healthier.
Sorry, but the science doesn't agree with you. Epidemiological studies and looking at the diets of the folks who live in the Blue Zones all support whole plant food diets as being the healthier way to live. Some diseases caused by animal product consumption take a fair amount of time to show up, and there are some individuals who seem to be able to withstand their consumption better than the rest of us. But, considering the general population, whole plant food diets HAVE been shown to result in better health.
Made this tonight, added chopped orange pepper with the cauli&without the chickpeas.Had it with brown rice-totally yummy scrummy! Thank you so much lads :-)
Just made it and my family devoured it! Fantastic! Will be making this on repeat! It would be so helpful to have the recipe , not just a list of ingredients and serving size.🙏
Please show the final plated meal on a closer shot, it would be good to see what it "should" look like! 😂 It sounds AMAZING and I can't wait to make it. 🙌
I absolutely love this recipe. I don't often use cauliflower in cooking, but it works so well in this dish! What a great recipe. I've made this tikka masala two days in a row because it's that good. Thank you guys for sharing! (:
2nd vlog of yours watching just now! I may have to binge watch all of yours. When did you first start your channel and, how long have you both been Vegan? Thanks so much! I'd have to cook the cauliflower for longer.
can't I just buy patak's curry paste and add some cream? they also have Tikka sauce but I like to tweak my own from the curry sauce.
Seems to be delicious - but, would you, please, show us the final plating or bowl? With the yogurt, almonds, and coriander - to feast our eyes and to know what we are attempting to replicate?
just tried this raw vegan style and it's incredible! I can only imagine how good the vegan version must be-wow! 👅
I love the pear-fect shirt 😂😂😂
So do we, Rose!!! 😋😄🙌
It don't take long to write out a recipe! If you can type two paragraphs of a description, you can type ingredients...
It's not about the time- it's going to be in our new book! 😄😘🙌
Hey ros!!! It should be up now 😘
Cool!
I will try... but check your gas... those flames are not normal
Delicious. Thank you.
Cheers Mary!!
Could i use oat cream or something like that? Im alergic to coconut :(
i bet a soy yogurt or sour cream would work
Hi lads, this looks delish! Question - can you use something like Alpro coconut drink or else soya milk in place of the coconut milk?
Hey Claire!! You want to get that creaminess from the full fat coconut milk which is why we'd recommend it :))
Can I exchange the coconut milk with something else cause I do not like it ?!
Love your videos, but do you guys provide cloning technology so I can get this done in 5 minutes too? Currently, there's only one of me ;)
Hahahahahaaha ;);)
Oh yum guys!
Thanks Aimee!!
Hi guys, how can I replace the coconut milk in this type of meals? I'm also soy intollerant. Can I use the almond milk or the avocado for the creaminess? Or both? thanks
Avocado would work fine for creaminess!! HOpe you enjoy as much as we do ;);)
thank you 😉
The guy in grey has the same exact voice as Saif Ali Khan
😂😂
I think the cauliflower is raw definitely... it can never loose its rawness in 5 mins , it would take minimum half an hr to 1 hr ... 🙏🙏
Looks damn good. What's the music playing?
This looks great... I'm trying to reduce my meat consumption. I have to laugh though, this must be the 10th video I've watched and it's only just dawned on me that they're brothers, not a couple. DOH !
My rabbit today but I watched this and I feel better

Looks Devine but how where those third degree arm burns?!!
I wonder if they will reply to my comment now that it's been 3 years after the video is made... 😉

I am a raw vegan so I don't do anything cooked can you make this recipe Rawvegan style?

OMG I made this already, a very similar recipe, the tomatoes, chickpea and cauliflower go sooo well together, especially if you add the soy yoghurt on top! mmmm
YUM !!! Sounds AMAZING!!!!!
Fun video. It's a good recipe it you let it cook properly for a few minutes longer. : )
Wow ! You guys are like 5 minutes speed train , couldn't catch up with what's the ingredients used . Could you list all the ingredients in your info box please ??! Thanks for sharing ;-)
2 people cooking 5 minutes. 1 Person, 15 minutes.... ^^
Love your work lads! You're so inspiring! Will definitely give that a crack here in Oz. Go raibh mile maith agat! 🍀💖💖
If I'm honest with myself, I think the thing that stops me the most of making new dishes is the lack of a blender.
Even a hand blender would work! 😄😘🙌
Curry everything, yes please!
I made this recipe so often that I was asked to stop for a bit. I am very excited
I am making again for dinner today
Love your recipes
This was my first try at one of your 5 min recipes. It was really good and will be trying more. Keep these coming.

Love the energy you have!!! And this recipe looks really good :D
Love your style it's not quite " pear- fect" but that's why I like watching! The recipe looks great!
Sounds like the taxi driver didn't invent this recipe - only inspired it. Which means the credit is being stolen from the chef in the kitchen who created a way to satisfy a customer's specific need. Props to the Indian chef who is the true creator of this delish dish.
It was great thinking on the fly by that chef, and without the usual "more milk for less heat" standby too.
I can't believe you said "we are using vegan yogurt but use whatever yogurt you like"
The animals in the cages, the cow and her slaughtered baby say thank you for possibly encouraging to use dairy yogurt.
I would suggest next time to either leave the yogurt out (its delicious anyway), or recommend plant based yogurt (its anyway healthier and doesn't give cancer like dairy one)
cows can't say thank you

@Happy Cosmos Try Specsavers!
Made this tonight, added chopped orange pepper with the cauli&without the chickpeas.Had it with brown rice-totally yummy scrummy! Thank you so much lads :-)
Love it you're fab! 😄👍🙌
you can't claim 5 minutes when you've got four hands working and I've only got two 😂😭
Found you guys through Cheap Lazy Vegan! Always looking for more meal ideas, this is awesome!

Just made it and my family devoured it! Fantastic! Will be making this on repeat! It would be so helpful to have the recipe , not just a list of ingredients and serving size.🙏
Glasgow is in scotland guys not England 🙄

Please show the final plated meal on a closer shot, it would be good to see what it "should" look like! 😂 It sounds AMAZING and I can't wait to make it. 🙌

I absolutely love this recipe. I don't often use cauliflower in cooking, but it works so well in this dish! Exactly Calum!! Thankyou Thankyou for the support! 💚😍😄
It looks fantastic!! 😍 I'm sure this is perfection when the cauli is cooked thru. 😉
Dishes you are cooking are nowhere even close to real authentic dishes and i feel you are even spoiling the original dish BUT for bigginers and for working people its motivational and looks edible . Moreover you call it Tikka Masala but where is Tikka in it 🤣... Its more like a mix-veg dish not Tikka Masala. At least don't change the name of the dishes..
But if i take out time for cooking then i would rathar spend a bit more time than just 5 minutes and cook properly the real dish.
Awesome recipe! Personally I don't really care for the 5 minutes mark, sometimes I wish you guys could go a bit slower so I could just cook my dinner while watching the video (my touchpad is covered with tomato paste now from pausing the video :) )... But still, great recipe
Y'all should put up some Mexican vegan food recipes!
Hey Richard, check out our vegan burrito :):) thehappypear.ie/recipe/5min-vegan-burrito/ !!!!
You guys are awesome, very inspiring. THANK U
this recipe was epic. the flavors were amazing. I am most definitely ordering your books.
Thrilled you tried it out! Happy cooking! 😄😘🙌
Looks so delish...and vegan! BTW, the wooden spoon near the high flame is making me crazy !!!
Why worry about peeling a root vegetable? It never gets sprayed with chemicals because it grows in the ground. Just wondering.
They want us to visit their website for their SEO ranking that’s why 🙄 only the cool UA-camrs place the recipe in the infobox
Seriously, that flaming fire is stupid, especially if peeps r watching to learn how to cook. Go to a burn unit at a hospital & see the child that was burned by the flame from a stove.
You didnt toast the spices properly.. ? How abaout a 10 min timer next time.. or 15. Wait. Why are we setting a timer ?
Looks yummy, will throw tomatoe paste in my next curry (I prefer the sauce to be a little thicker). :)
This looks good but coconut does not agree with me unfortunately. Any alternatives?
You could just shake the can of coconut milk before slopping it all over the place.. could save a few seconds too...
