  • At Align Therapy in Lehi, Utah, we focus on treating scoliosis conservatively. This involves scoliosis specific exercise using the Schroth Method and the SEAS Approach.
    To perform these exercise techniques correctly, an awareness of the scoliosis posture is essential. Taking into account the position of the pelvis, shoulders, and all the trunk is helpful to improve the postural correction.
    In this video we talk about being aware of what the scoliosis is doing to your posture and how you can start to address this. This is not to replace scoliosis specific exercise, but is instructional in how we go about connecting the brain to the body in this way.

    I'm 55 with levoscoliosis . I have no idea what do for yrs I tried it has ruined pilates for me . I do know I could be strengthening wrong parts so it's been difficult to get exercises. My primary doctor just says do what you there's nothing you can do. I don't want the inbalance and don't know what to do. I see this videos I realize it's different for everyone so I don't try at home. Seems pointless less. If you know any books or websites that are very good for levo that would be greatly appreciated. There a curve in the middle back and slightly goes to the left and down . I definitely feel the imbalance walking standing exercising it's very annoying

      Find a therapist trained in Schroth and they can help you out.
