Great playthrough of the game. I think I'll note some stuff that I saw that could be added or worked on for the future for expansions, etc.:
    1. Rewards, on occasion or rarely, should include a card removal option after each wave. At least for the prototype you have and what I saw, the rewards didn't include any way to cut cards (as Mike from One Shop Co-op Shop would say it) and going to day 2 with basically all of your starting cards still in it your deck at least in some way doesn't make you stronger a bit when you can't get the weaker starting cards out at all. I think the designer did say that the game is loosely based on StS, and I'm hoping that some of the reward cards you look at after each wave says "you may also remove one card from your deck after drafting your 2 new cards" is for the final version.
    2. The game can benefit greatly from 1-2 more expansions in the future. I'll give them a break since this game is still being worked out and this is a prototype, but I hope that once the first 2 expansions for this game ship, the designer comes back in the future with 2-3 more expansions that induces 1-2+ more heroes and 2-4+ more bosses. Plus, to make runs a bit more unique so that its not always "fights," you could also get a random event after each wave you can choose to take that's either good or bad for you like "gain another card draft," "gain a card unique to this event," etc. to randomize runs ever further and increase replay ability a lot better. (I can also mention a shop like after each wave, you gain gold and you use that to buy cards, remove cards, buy potions, etc. so that you can get what your want if the reward cards you revival isn't giving you the stuff you want or control RNG a bit if you get 3+ cards in a row with no potions on it.)
That's just my 2 cents regardless. I'll still back the game since its like a pocket version of the StS board game and simple to more focus on combat (and for less than half the price of the StS board game), and I'm hoping that Small Town Heroes will get some more expansions in the future to increase the variety of characters, etc. outside the 2 boxes that this Kickstarter gives us. At this rate, it could be like the 2nd main game series the designer releases and could focus one for awhile in addition to Robomon (his other game that I backed a month or too ago since its shipping soon).

@@MeetMeAtTheTable You're welcome. The best I can say is that the reward cards mechanic is a bit on the RNG side of things as to when you'll gain something, and if it was a shop system where you gain gold for each enemy defeated and you can spend that gold on whatever you want in the shop (new cards, cut cards, or potions), I think that could work better.
Plus, if you do go to day 2, the first day boss gives you an artifact reward or something so that you have a passive effect that could trigger under certain conditions so that it's not like "go to day 2 with just new cards and stronger enemies." Just saying that as enemies scale up, the player should have a easier time on it too.

The game looks amazing similar to Slay the Spire. The art here however is odd, Slay the Spire art is unique. I just dont know what is up with the Blue haired Karen haircut with ear plug warrior, I just cant stare at that warrior for a full play through. The monsters look good though just missing some backgrounds.
