After eons of waiting, it's time to finally complete the Bloodborne Boss Rage that was started over 4 years ago! In one of the toughest runs yet, Max attempts to complete the main story bosses of Bloodborne...without ever leveling up his character! This makes some previously easy bosses into absolute nightmares. Get ready to see a Lady Maria fight like you've never seen!

*sarcastic tone* I love how committed Max is to this. He moved back to his old house, decorated the game room exactly how it looked back then, shoved Ripley back into Jessica, and let her scare him multiple times just to be that authentic and try to match part 1 as much as possible.

Okay, so fun fact. The Japanese company Max Factory made a Figma action figure of Lady Maria, and they were in contact with From Software for licensor approval, as you do. According to them, FromSoft kept telling them "Make her taller." Comparing the final version to the "default" Hunter Figma they'd already released, the designers said that if the Hunter was 5'11"/180cm (a fairly average height for an adult male), then Maria would be 6'7"/200cm.

Haha no way, I literally just watched part one within the last months after finally getting hooked on Bloodborne. Your Lore Playthrough has been great. Just got to your first jaunt through the DLC

Max died to Maria 253 times. That’s insane.
On my first run through the game Ludwig was the hardest boss for me, and I don’t know how many times I died.
On New Game+ Lawrence easily killed me well over a 150 times, so I can practically feel maxes frustration from my own experience.
Holy crap Lady Maria is hard at this challenge. Max went from 260-ish deaths to 500+. Holy Fuck Dood
Lady Maria is just flat out hard. For me it took the most attempts out of any boss in my regular playthrough. I beat Orphan of Kos on my 6th ever attempt, but Lady Maria put my ass in the dirt countless times.

I was able to 2 attempt Lady Maria. Orphan took me about 50 haha.
@@SuperArppis i found both Maria and Orphan easy, yet Ludwig and Laurence were rough
If you can get the parry timing down Maria isn't too bad.
Nothing better than the fulfillment you get from beating a game that makes you rage, like "well, now that that's done I'm never doing that s#*+ again".....then you do it again!!!

Seeing the Death Count go up by an astronomical amount during the fight with Maria…man, I felt that pain.
I'm feeling inspired to give this a go.... I've hardly played Bloodborne for the last 3 years... But between watching you do this and my 68 year old dad making it upto mergos wet nurse... I'm pumped to dive back in
There's a clay stop motion horror film called 'Mad God' that took 30 years to make (the Robocop special FX guy) and had lots of different people, even students working in it. Means it's quite disjointed, but it's also crazy as sht. And I swear there's one part that's literally Mergo's wet nurse taking a baby. Someone just clay motioned that boss lol.

i dont blame him, its a masterpiece, just wish it wasnt so short, you know a game is amazing when it leaves you wanting more than what it gives.

It's so funny that he had so much issue with Maria, my favorite boss in the game, while he did very well by comparison against Kos, my least favorite (to be fair, I didn't know about the hit stun when I fought him, I just suffered through phase 2).

Holy wow i'm seeing bosses on here that I didnt even know existed in the main game! Now I have an excuse to replay Bloodbourne lmao.
I mean he did play through the dlc too, it would be normal for you to miss those bosses if you don't have the dlc yet
No idea if this works for the parry loop, but I’ve found it to be easier if you ignore his first swing and parry him on his second.
(Same tip for Gherman, parry on the twos.)
Lady Maria killed him 253 times.
Orphan of Kos killed him 79 times.
Laurence killed him 42 times.
Gehrman killed him 38 times.
Moon presence killed him 31 times.
Lady Maria is no joke.

its amazing that maria took him 200+ attempts and kos (who is arguably harder) less than 100 xD
One thing I've learned about Souls games is that literally every single person struggles with different bosses, and vice versa for bosses you easily beat. I somehow beat Orphan on my 6th ever attempt, but Lady Maria ground me into a fine, blood-soaked powder countless times.

Its surprising how difficult the living failures are on low level runs. They are one of those bosses that are exponentially harder at low levels.
