- It is one of the most difficult climbs I had in my climbing career. An average of 4-5 days to scale Mt. Mantalingajan, earning the distinction of being the mountain with the longest minimum time to reach the summit.
Mount Mantalingahan is the highest mountain in the island province of Palawan in the Philippines, with an elevation of 6,844 ft (2,086 meters) above sea level, its ranked 69th-highest peak of an in island on Earth.
Climb was done with Mr. Edgar Ian Tesaluna of Challenge the Summit as our Coordinator last March of 2016.
Itinerary:
March 8 - Travel to Puerto Princesa; Buy Supplies; Rest
March 9 - Travel to Jump-off, Arrival, Secure Guides, Porters Etc., Start
Hike to "Bulldog's House" est. 3 hours from Jump-off.
March 10 - Continuation of Hike, Camp Kawayan; End Hike
March 11 - Hike to Paray-paray Campsite; Leave Bags, proceed to Summit if time permits
March 12 - Assault to Summit for Sunrise; Leave paray-paray at 7am descend to Brooke's Point, end of Hike
Usual Itinerary is 5 days, 2 days for descend depending on the team members.
We have 1 Guide Kuya Binoy and 2 porters.
Expense during our climb including transportation and meals - P4,000 each for team of 10 members..

Hello po sir. Magandang araw po sa inyo. Ang climb po na ito ay naisagawa sa tulong po ng organizer from Mindanao, esp Davao City thru Mr. Edgar Ian Tesaluna last March 2016 po. Kami po ay naghike ng 3 araw at 2 gabi entering from Rizal, Palawan and exiting Brooke’s Point po.

Malamig po kaya dyan sa december or january?
Hindi ko pa po nasubukan pero rainforest po kasi yung bundok kaya ppwedeng maging sobrang lamig po at napakadami ng linta.
