First time climbing Mt. Kanlaon! Finally sharing our climb to the roof of Visayas. Mt. Kanlaon is an active volcano standing 2465 meters above sea level. The largest volcano in the Philippines.
This mountain has been in my bucketlist since i started hiking. I had no opportunity to climb it back then since it’s ever changing status and finally, summiting the beast was worth the wait! It was a BEAUTIFUL experience. We took the Guintubdan Trail for this hike.
I am grateful that i live in the island where it is standing loud and proud!

A very nice view, the weather seems to cooperation with campers/trekkers. The sky is very clear and this was on day 2 at round 10 am. Really love the beauty of nature. One of my dream destinations Mt. Kanlaon.

Every clear morning from our second story terrace, we can view this wonderful volcano while having our coffee about 60 kilometers away from the danger!!!!!!!! 👍🇵🇭❤️

Hello po! Mt. Kanlaon, the Volcano resides on both Negros Oriental and Occidental 🙂 and for this hike, we took the Guintubdan trail which the jump-off is at La Carlota City, Negros Occidental 🙂

Hello po! Mt, Kanlaon resides on both Occidental and Oriental. For this particular video, our jump off was at La Carlota City, Negros Occidental. There are also entry points in Oriental.

Hello po. We did this hike last year and there was a window of opportunity na na offer sa among group for this hike and it was legit permit. As far as I know right now, Hindi pa sila tumatanggap ng hikers.

Hello maam! Thank you! As of now, Mt. Kanlaon is closed for climbing. But you can also hike different mountains here in Negros.
