Love the techno-optimism. Many of my friends basically feel like modernity is inherintly wicked - like simplifying and reduced consumption is the only way out. We've got to make the argument that we can figure our way out of this, and that the future could be amazing.
The Renaissance artists of our time are building products at scale and impacting the world. I think you’re right. History will look back at it like this.
Dudes thank you so much. I got so much from this scheme, but the words that will stick in my psyche are, “Accept the new.” That will be the mantra from here on out. Y’all are awesome. Great conversation!
Actually a super good reminder in the age of Internet trolling and shitposting to embrace this shift to optimism, to saying something positive rather than something negative. No blackpill zone. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it! Not in a chiding way, but rather to just remember that the future will be built on optimism rather than pesamism. Really great stuff, LFG!!🚀🚀
Mmm cool setup and interesting points. Imo Healthcare and Education go up more than inflation because of Baumol's cost disease and where you are buying your labour? Like a tv is made with cheap overseas labour whereas education and healthcare have to be made with expensive local labour. There's those graphs about how basically consumer goods go down in real terms over time and local services go up and yeah the average will be between them which means the local services will always rise faster than the average, doesn't mean something is broken necessarily. Though yeah healthcare and education in the US are super broken haha.
Lots of good thoughts here but want to push back on the "skip the pills take a walk". There's a real problem around people scared of medicine so that felt like a misstep. the optimism of doge + rfk + the rest seemed too high as well, so appreciated 1:20:00 where you talked about how the systems wont change because of groups of people in government.
Great work Gali and Aidan. I think the next few years will be good for people who own capital and love technology, but the bottom half of the US will struggle on without taking part. I wish we could do both, in an ideal world... but alas...
16:15 aren’t the “defence contractors” also private companies though? So how do you ensure the private sector doesn’t take advantage of the government? Tesla is well run and has a broader mission of helping humanity, but many private companies are just out for profit. How do you police that and convince people that the private sector is the way forward? @Gali quite rightly says that if the government broadband initiative was a private company the CEO would have been fired by now. But the defence contractors and pharmaceutical firms ARE private companies and they are essentially gouging the government and ultimately the people. So how is this being allowed to happen? (Great podcast by the way)
I really appreciate your efforts! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
I’m concerned for Tesla despite, and especially because of, the recent rallies. It seems like Elon is struggling with his allegiance to the truth which was not the case in the past. He seems to tweet some very concerning and easily disprovable ideas. In regards to TSLA, we saw a troubling low effort robotaxi event where nothing is even almost ready and we saw how far behind Tesla is on these advancements that we assumed were in the bag. And TSLA immediately dropped to reflect that. Now that Elon succeeded in “infiltrating” the government we see an immense rally. I don’t see the shareholder value that this seems to imply. Regulation would only be a concerning barrier if the robotaxi event displayed close to ready products. It didn’t.
Why are you no longer putting on timestamps? It’s getting ridiculous how many youtubers have stopped doing that to force people to watch the whole video…
Was agreeing with everything until he blamed NASA for a Boeing issue on Starliner. NASA is at the whims of congress and has to play nice not by choice. Stopped listening at that point.
Bryan Johnson would live a lot longer if he just ate a high fat diet and did intermittent fasting. Nutrition and medicine research is almost all poorly conducted
So much change is happening. Such an exciting time to be alive!
thank you for coming on the show bro!!! gonna have to have you back for another scheme sesh soon :)

@@HyperChangeTV It's a lot of work to do everything right. Maybe use SRT of auto-transcript, throw in chatGPT and ask it to do it?
@@HyperChangeTVthanks! Sorry if I was harsh it was not directed towards you, just a general observation. Appreciate your insights.
There are no unhealthy foods just food like commercial products. Around half of modern dieases exist because people don't eat real food.
Was agreeing with everything until he blamed NASA for a Boeing issue on Starliner. NASA is at the whims of congress and has to play nice not by choice. Stopped listening at that point.
And then you realize the world is not America 😂🇺🇸🌍
Bryan Johnson would live a lot longer if he just ate a high fat diet and did intermittent fasting. Nutrition and medicine research is almost all poorly conducted
I just got to say, you are using the wrong word, Techno is a genre of Music, Tech is short for technology, which is what you are talking about 🙂
Aka American Techno Fascism.
Oohhh ahhh it's all facism ...stfu...FFS ya nob
I can’t wait for the Jakwondas to be booted off “benefits”
