    This really helped me out. Mine was loose and had started to leak. I had no idea how to access it. Thanks for the excellent how-to video!

      No problem, it really sucks to have water or electrical issues.

    Do you happen to have a link to the TRP antenna you tried to install? I couldn't find it on the TRP website. Thanks.

    After installing my new antenna I noticed a small gap between the rear of the new antenna and the roof. Any idea(s) why?

      Maybe your rubber gasket is pinched or there might be dirt or something. The only other thing is the base could be slightly bent

    So, You weren't able to use the flatter antenna?

    • @infiniteprojects808
      @infiniteprojects808  2 роки тому +2

      I did use the flatter antenna, but radio reception was horrible so went back to the shark fin.

      They have a website called TRP. Meso customs makes a better looking replacement

      Super easy. If you ever have to remove it for some reason. You’ll be surprised at what you can do if you just take your time. 🤙

      Hahahaha. True. But yes it works perfect now. Either I damaged the original one or something went wrong. Thanks for checking out the video. 🤙

    You pretty much ruined your truck because the overpriced roof rack sucked.

      not really, I caught in time. and the problem came from wire loom in the engine bay. Also the DV8 rack was cheap compared to all the rest, I think it was a little over $400. 🤙
