Abby, what a great story teller you are. I love and am inspired by your channel. I have had tragedy in my life and feel like there is nothing left for me until now, I don't think France is for me but the journey is amazing. You make me realize there is much more life to live. Please keep telling your story. All my best. Sandy
I am so glad to be able to inspire and I feel honored that I have inspired you. There is indeed so much world out there to live for! I wish you the best in finding your own little slice! ❤
Hi Ssa, you are correct but there isn't enough time left to explore and do things, time is running out. End times prophecy is being fulfilled all around us, please read the Book of Revelation! The rapture and the 7 year Tribulation with the world ruler ( the Bible calls him Antichrist, 666!) are right around the corner. Once you know biblical end times prophecy and the plans of the NWO, you can easily see what is happening in the world. Please have an open mind and know that there is hope: accept JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Savior today!!! Remember: JESUS is GOD, see John 1! Read the New Testament, listen to Dr. Ron Rhodes and Roger Liebi on the end times/Rapture/Antichrist. Blessings from AB
Every day find one thing to look forward to even if it’s only a good cup of coffee or a hot bath or shower & your favorite music, eventually each day you will find more to help you feel better. I wish you well in your journey up into a beautiful new life.
Well, now I’m crying. I’ve had several tragedies all back to back. I’m climbing out of the dark hole I’ve been living in. Inch by inch, day by day. Thank you for your comment as I am sure so many relate. I too am being inspired and excited by following along this journey. I heard a great saying, just keep living until you feel alive. I am so glad I found this channel.

A power washer might do wonders for your outside gate posts and the render and brickwork on the outside of the chateau. The jet spray would clean off a lot of mold and mildew. The aqua color in the background wall on episode 4 is beautiful. I wouldn’t change a thing there. In the room with the mosaic floor, I would paint that room a color from the mosaic floor that is not green. The floor doesn’t ’pop’ with the walls being green as well. If you choose a juxtaposing color to the walls, it will make that lovely floor stand out. Possibly a cream color, or soft pink? I haven’t had a good enough look at the floor to have a good idea. You could set up the rooms in the third floor to house volunteers who could come and stay while they help you with things you can’t do yourself. See if there is a quilt maker in town and dress each room for a volunteer with a lovely handmade quilt to make up for the fact that there are not a lot of windows up there. You will see your place take shape more quickly if you had help from volunteers. Congratulations!🍾🎉
I love all your ideas! Thank you for the inspiration! Love the quilt idea. My grandmother was a quilter and she passed on the skill to me as well, though I haven't made a quilt since I was a teenager. Maybe it's time to try again... if only I had more time! 😃
Raising my volunteer hand 🙌🏻 You are inspiring! I love the wellness retreat focus ❤ yoga, meditation, Breathwork, Whole Foods, energy medicine, so many options
I especially love the idea of a contrast to green on the walls. A warm terra cotta would cozy up the space, make the fireplace pop and highlight the tiles. What fun!
Wow! Could you share where you found it? That’s the price range I’m looking for … not for a huge place but maybe 4 bedrooms and not derelict! I’m going to start looking in the spring!
First off, yay another chateau channel to watch. It’s funny but I enjoy the channels that are more subdued and calming rather than frenzied in high energy. Your voice and story telling is wonderfully soothing, along with the footage inside and out. So cool to follow another chateau brought back to life.

Herman, MO and Neosho, MO leading the way and the diplomacy and advocacy of Charles Valentine Riley (the states first entomologist ). Abby, you are a brave soul for setting out and going to another country to by a house. I hope all your hopes for your new home come true i really admire you for this. stay strong.
Looks like a chateau (petite) to me. I just love it. And the fact it’s in such good condition, it was a no brainer. If all you have to do is decorate, and landscape you can take your time and actually LIVE! BTW, your precious niece looks SO much like you! 😮😮😮 I did know about the American wines stock, amazing story. The French were there for us, and we were there there for the French 💕
Thank you for clarifying that your house is not a chateau but a manor house! I think you are much better off in your lovely home than having a big chateau. The floor plan is one of the best I’ve ever seen! You will save so much on up keep and utilities! Are you planning to use part of the public areas for events? I think you will be successful in your endeavors and I am so glad I found your sight!! Would love to visit some time! Good luck in everything you are doing. Can’t wait to see more videos on your adventure!!! Your niece is a treasure!
Dear Abby, Firstly congratulations on your wonderful house. I love it. It’s really interesting, and somewhat comforting, to see how I went through almost exactly the same questions, trials and tribulations, when I bought my place two years ago in Charente (slightly North of you). But also, after all the initial logistics, the joyous and great task of starting to try to fit into the village. I wish you well with all your endeavours! Best wishes, Jenny

I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 40years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for
Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
Hi Craig Hispanic male of 50 here , I’m sorry for your current situation , I’m 50 and I still haven’t begun my life after many messed up decisions .. I can relate…due to a back injury that the doctors couldn’t “fix” I was forced into leaving my job and getting on disability which left me with a very deep slash to my finances and it’s scary knowing I cannot pay all of my bills month to month….I have zero entertainment & I only leave my house for doctor appointments & do my monthly shopping 😢😢😢😢
Love your adventure!!!! If I were a younger woman (83), I would attempt to live abroad, maybe France, who knows? Keep the blogs, videos and picture coming so I can live my adventures through you!!
Girl, you just be you, mumble away! I could hear you 👍 Just be yourself and don't think you always have to do what everyone else does. There's plenty of room for you to do things your special way. Really enjoy seeing this from the beginning. Thank you for sharing 🙂
What did the French groundhog see on February 2nd? His chateau🤣 I like how you show and explain all the different types of property to invest in. Very simple yet thorough.🍀
I have been going to a similar process in looking for a maison de maître, Homes from the late 1800 you can find history at the Cadastre and also the eldest in the region :) I do speak French and it helps 😅I went to school there and have family living in the Languedoc and Provence region, Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need help in translation and or “French government and regulations “ Enjoy the region and the food!!
So much fun Abby to be at the beginning with you of renovating and developing this property. It is such a fun adventure! Thank you for sharing it with us. Excellent content decisions. Keep going! ❤
Abby, I liked learning the process of buying a property in France. The yard looks awesome. I really can envision the people walking around while attending a retreat or painting workshop. It would be such peaceful endeavor. Thanks for taking me along this awesome journey.
Our family has been watching Chateau videos for about a year and came across your channel. Keep up the great work! We’ll be watching from NJ! Side note: I worked very closely with Aaron at Capco, in fact he was my mentor. Wonderful wonderful human and taught me a lot both professionally and personally!
C'est étonnant comme on tombe sous le charme d'une maison, on a l'impression que c'est elle qui vous choisi !Ca ne s'explique pas. Bravo pour cette vidéo !!
It is amazing what a little bit of landscape cleanup can do to make the whole place look like a postcard - very good job. Good luck with the painting. It too will make a huge difference.
Abby, I'm drinking in every detail you share about this wonderful place. The estate sales and auctions are the best sources as it's where the antique stores go to fill their shops so you can compete on a wholesale level and get what you want for a great price. I cannot wait to see your purchases and how you develop the rooms piece by piece. Wishing you the best and I'll be watching your vlogs as they post.
Hello Abby! I began watching your channel previously when you only had one eposode. I am originally from California. I can confirm the story about the moving of the vines after the blight. Thank you for confirming what I was told. I was told that story from the time I was knee high. I am now 71. My father was born on Catalina Island before the Mexican government sold it to California. Technically, although his mothers parents came from France, she was born in Pennsylvania. Both she and my grandfather were American Citizens. He became one by his birth. I can't wait to see more! You are awesome!
@@MyCheriAnolani If he ever knew first hand experience of anything about bones other than buffalo, he never indicated it. I have seen pictures of a lot of things like what you describe. Much later some appears to be debunked by some folks alleged to be professionals. I wonder professionals of what? I will ask my mother. If he discussed it, it may have been with her. If a smiley face appears in my response, know for a fact I did not put it there. Those could not all be so called legends...he always called California and Catalina the land of mystique.
@@mamaahu There were actual bones up in Montana. The land they were found was the original settlers family, several generations later. When they dug them up they could nt believe the size. It was not an entire body, just some extremely large bones. They took them to a university to have them determine what they were. Shortly after that, their land was foreclosed upon, despite that they were not behind on payments. It was sad that over 15K acres disappeared as it did, and that so many are corrupt to hide the find. I personally knew that family. Very old ranchers, and all their families.
What a huge difference the yard cleanup made and I just love how private the property is with the gate, such beautiful property. I am loving watching the restoration and learning the facts of how a person could go about doing this was so interesting. I will be watching for each and every video to follow your process. Thank you for taking the time to document this for us!
You're living my dream, because I am too terrified to just leap. As a fellow single woman of the same age, you've earned my admiration. I am exited to be able to take a peep inside your journey.
That guy you hired did a great job! It looks so much better already . And you were very smart to consider the Big Ticket items , which on an old house like this can cost a fortune to repair/replace , much less find someone who can do it!! Cosmetic items are "easy" in comparison!! Suggestion re the various bug issues you have::: Standing water will always attract certain species of insects that breed on it. Once these are cleaned out a bit, if you have some type of water movement, pump that might help or check to see if they would support fish . Whatever is legally allowed in France for ponds . Fish would take care of that as well. Also, I was excited to hear you mention a chicken coop. Some heritage chickens would be great on your property. They're a lot of fun, you get fresh eggs and they also go after any insect/slug/catepillar they see!! Lots of "gentlemen farmers" use them to keep destructive bugs off their gardens. This might help with the boxwood.
Having just spent two days hedge trimming my back yard shrubs, bushes and trees with several more days to go, I would hire the painters and do the yard work myself. 😂 I’m 75 and a widow so I either do it or pay for it to be done. Your property is an absolute gem, both the house and the view. One question I have is, how do you take your little dog back and forth from the States to France without having him in quarantine?
Good for you! Widows rock! (And get stuff done!!). Not quarantine for the pup. I just need an up-to-date vet certificate and she travels in a bag under the seat. It's pretty smooth. 😃
I hope you show us step by step of each room you redo. I’m most excited for paint and paper. You don’t always have to answer everyone. That would be a full time job. lol Take time to enjoy the little things. ❤️
That was a very interesting history of the Chateau Borie estate. Very nicely done!! Great Maps too!! Oh and I dont mind the mumbling as long as you have subtitles to go with it. LOL. Subtitles are very important. The camera work is so much nicer with the gimbal too!!
I'm still trying to figure out an easy way to do the subtitles other than having to manually type them for each video. And yeah, the gimbal was awesome! :)
Enjoyed listening to the process of buying the château and the history you have discovered. The excellent trimming job really opened all the various “rooms” outside. It feels like the château has been waiting for you! All the best as you move forward!
Thank you for sharing the process. Seems a lot easier than I would anticipate. It also seems like an amazing price for what you got. It's a beautiful place and I love the property. I'm a cave dweller myself and could easily see myself making bread and pizza in that cave with the 3 wood fired ovens. . Small business opportunity there. :).
I’m so happy I found this channel, it’s fun, fascinating and I absolutely love your independent courageous positive attitude! Looking forward to catch up on the posts and follow your progress, growth and expansion into the future. ❤
They were French stock transplanted to the US and transplanted back to France when needed. My niece currently works in a Vineyard and is a Horticulturist.
I’m a hospitality architect currently in Tokyo, raised in Houston. In my 50s 😤😫😂🤭dead serious trying to do the similar to what you’ve done. I’ve been going through MANY “DIY chateaux” learning and I truly think you made a great choice. Despite you’re literally a professional renovator knowing from your other video. Facilities are CRUCIAL and difficult plus expensive, sometimes dangerous without correct knowledge. So is the ROOF, foundation and structures. Probably you don’t have earthquakes in Loire River area but still important as an asset. The video was very educational 🎉 Thank you. I also love your “soft concept” making it out a sort of artist community. I have a different idea but also want to create a place to “gather” mix cultures/professions/old & young&pets/travelers etc. I will be following and wishing you luck, hopefully visit you not so far ❤
Thanks for your story. It was wonderful. Some of the other Chateaus (not sure of area) had some attempted break ins. Suggest you gets a couple of security cameras set up, especially if you will be basically alone there and not close to other people. Safety first. lol
Get a few more little dogs to be alarms too, your little one would love one companion at least. Maybe some day you can find a good manager & host events in your great room & patios. Make your wonderful place repay you.
So glad for the gimble. Thank you. The bread ovens are really exciting - I'm a sucker for an old kitchen and bake house. Love the dresser you got at auction. Sounds like you really scored on the gardener front. Thanks for sharing.
Your video's make me have more respect for my age (68), the rich finer & valuable things in life, away from the big ball of madness & confusion that life has become in ( the U.S.A. for me) last 30 years or so. Thanks for your unassuming presentation and calm demeanor approach.
Yes, stay healthy, you mentioned the meno monster - might check into the estro gel that you rub on your arm. Check with your dr. Keep your back strong & keep your energy. I went without it but now I am a fan. Small dose makes a huge dif Mrs Z.
Thank you! Also, please don’t worry about responding to each comment. I usually just say something to help your channel with the algorithm. Watching from Alabama.
Keep the videos coming. I’m enjoying living vicariously through UA-cam. 😂 I’m from the US. Wondering what the visa process is like. Did you have to become a resident to buy? Thank you!
It was a heart choice, the size we are be able to take care is the perfect size. There's much around the house to be explored, to plant flowers and have fun. You can use water and soap to kill pestes, spray once in the early morning and once at night. I've been renovating for 9 years while living in an ancien factory house in a rural tiny Swiss French village where they used to make watch parts in the 60's. Now it's time to move on, maybe France or Portugal. I wish you much happiness. Solange
So excited that you are taking us with you on your adventure. Your home is going to be beautiful! I absolutely love the way your home nestles against the rocks.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful property and chateau. I look forward to seeing more and hopefully you will be able to learn more of the history of your home. Maybe a library or historical society could lend more light on it. Avoir.
Beautiful property. Watched several restoration projects online and in my opinion Abby you have the best property. Not only the house - which is beautiful but the out buildings are fantastic. Love the outdoor space. So many possibilities. And of course the views are spectacular. Truly envy this property. Good luck in all your endeavors.
Very interesting. I’m Canadian myself and I’m addicted to these chateau channels. I have a feeling that I will also buy in France soon. Thank you for some insight on the buying process. 🇨🇦
How did I not find you before? I've been mulling over moving to France for ages but life, death and circumstances kept me on the treadmill until events retired me 5 years ago. I'm also a bit of a hermit with no kids, no sibs just 2 cats and that's just fine with me. When I 'settle' I'll get a dog. I spent last summer along the Canal du Midi, Castelnaudary and villages in the Aude, Orbe and Cesse River valleys looking for places that met my needs and wants; bicycle friendly, public swimming pools, and links to transportation, which is better in France than where I live now. I'm going to watch your whole series. I'm sure to be inspired. Thank you for your work. Carolyn
How lovely! Good for you for finding help with some of the more strenuous work such as the landscaping. This brings to mind the removal of the banana trees in your last episode. You might think about reconsidering that, as they take very little attention. I started out (in south Florida) with 2 trees about 5 years ago. I do nothing to them other than throw a little fertilizer onto them once a year. This year I had 5 ‘crops’, and they are terrific conversation pieces. When one is harvested, that stump dies and can be dug and tossed. It will throw up a few ‘pups’ which become a new crop that will mature in another year of 2. They take so little time or attention, and are a wonderful conversation piece.
Yes, the problem with the banana trees is that they look odd in a chateau setting, and they are very close to the stone foundations of the steps and I worry they could unearth it. I am hoping to replace with something carefree but more in keeping with the setting. 😃
I would also be interested in your list of French property websites. Really interesting to hear your experience. Another lady I follow here (Janice in France) is also going through the visa renewal process which involves an extended return to the US. Hope all goes smoothly for you. Very best wishes.
If you don't know about Emmaüs (like the Salvation Army/Goodwill thrift shops), do have a look. I found beautiful LOUIS XV armoires, a dining room table, 8 chairs, a buffet, a sort of armoire with chicken wire in the doors rather than wood panels, apparently for storing JAMS ! I put my good dishes in it, just deep enough for dinner pllates, with one plate standing up on edge being held in place by the other dinner plates underneath it. Some 3 'sets', so decently wide enough. For the huge armoire, I paid only 275€, so Emmaüs is really worth your time, and they're all over the place--shop around !
Wonderful updates, and look forward to your next "aventures' with decor, furnishings and the overall property. Sad about the topiary boxwoods blight -- hoping for a good solution to this pesky situation as the topiaries are so much a part of the classic French landscaping history. Your dog is loving this place! 🤗
I just found you today and watched all four videos. I absolutely love the place, especially the grotto and caves, it’s just so magical. Look forward to seeing the transformation. Best wishes from Texas!❤
Very interesting hearing some of the history behind the house. With a lot of the trimming done now you’ve got a jump on spring cleanup. It will be fun seeing what plants pop up, I love gardening. Are the fireplaces the main heating, guess you’ll need a ton of wood. Can’t wait to see a warm fire on cold nights in them. ❤️👍🏻
Your landscaper is a keeper. I can't believe how much you have accomplished. I'm looking forward to seeing your next video. Hugs from a grandmother in Coos Bay, Oregon.
Wow, things are coming along nicely! What a difference to the front gate and driveway area since you had the gardener in. 🍁I am really enjoying your videos, and look forward to seeing the progress with every new video. Congrats on your new home! Have a great week. Jan from Ontario, 🇨🇦 ❤
Great update - good to hear the process and the steps one must take to move forward in the purchasing process of securing property in France. You have embarked on a wonderful journey and I hope each day brings you much success.
we are all living vicariously through you ! Congratulations on the chateau what an amazing opportunity you have on your hands, so many possibilities, You go girl ! looking forward to more videos...
We are presenting renovating a home across the street. It has been a total gut job. And yes during the virus issues and building costs it has been a real challenge. So be thankful that you are mainly dealing with cosmetic issues. Landscaping is lots of fun and be happy you only have 5 acres. Oh glad you are painting first before wall papering. Can’t wait to see😊
I'm binge watching chateau reno's and yours popped up in my feed. I'm not sure I could handle the French government though, so I'll just watch from a distance. I have all I can handle with the Canadian tax rates and inflation. Both of you provide a great balance to presenting vlogs. Maybe Olivia found a new hobby to branch out on, because she sure has a talent for this. She's a natural and sooo much fun, I'm loving the contrast of both personalities. May I suggest a different camera that doesn't jiggle? A DJI osmo action camera, if they still make that series, is great for travel and movement -- some like it even better than a go-pro, and it's small and easy to use as a go-pro. Just a suggestion as the jiggly screen will likely hurt my head after a few minutes, and I'd hate to miss out on your fun adventures.
Love the way you are showing maps and the layouts of the place. Helps to get a real sense of where things are. I get the sense that the caves and grottos have had human occupation for thousands of years and that they riddle the property and you could be finding them for years. The grotto emanates beautiful energy and the springs I believe have been sacred springs for a very long time as well. the cave used as the chapel emanates more of a Christian holiness and is amazingly peaceful and serene. I encourage you to see the 'devils' in the entrance room as nature 'daimons' or spirits of the living things. The most amazing place you have become the steward of.
Abby, you truly inspire me. Your new home is beautiful. This is an exciting journey. This will be an ideal place for retreats. I can imagine it being a healing retreat for all. Bravo!
Look at that already a pro!!! 🥳🥳🥰 what a great informative vlog. The journey of how people end out with one of these beautiful places always interested me ❤ thank you 🥰🥰 and also I dont know why but those pools gave me Pride and Prejudice vibes 🤣🤣🤣 Mr Darcy walking out of the pond vibes 🤣 🥰🥰 your home is just magical i love it and the views are gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤❤
I like the fact your chateau isn't overly huge. But after your daughter showed off the 3rd floor was really curious what could be done with all those rooms. I thot with the 'bathroom wards', reminded me of a dormitory unit I saw a few years back. Do you have an university nearby? Or perhaps hiking or cycling trails? Am unfamiliar with your area so if you're unable to put to practical use as extra 'income maker' there's always a sewing room; and arts & crafts; storage of seasonal items, ... am thinking that originally they could have been servant quarters & their lounge area. What I think is a neat idea is the caves and that summer kitchen especially after your 2nd video the temperatures were cooking you. Love your adventure.
The yard clean up is really coming along nicely! The price of that house was a steal! So exciting to watch the transformation! I think I've been shut in too much from Covid lol ..
If allowed in France, there are systemic products to treat boxwood. I use Bayer products here in the states for systemic plant treatments and it's very effective. "Imidacloprid, a systemic insecticide (Merit or Bayer Tree and Shrub Insect Control), will control the larvae inside the leaves and does not require precise timing. This product should be applied in mid- to late April."
Abby, what a great story teller you are. I love and am inspired by your channel. I'm shocked by the purchase price. I was anticipating it to be in the 1-1.2 million range. Fantastic property!

She said 5 acres now down alot from what it was as a wine estate.♥
Thank you so much!

Really enjoy seeing this from the beginning. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Haha! OK, I'll keep mumbling! 😃
Mumbles are good 👍
Wonderful story! The vine stock came from the Texas Hill Country which is now producing huge amounts of very good wines.
Ah. Interesting! Another commenter pointed out that the American stock had once come from France, so what goes around... 😃
What did the French groundhog see on February 2nd?
His chateau🤣 I like how you show and explain all the different types of property to invest in. Very simple yet thorough.🍀
Very cute! Thank you for your comment! 🤩

So much fun Abby to be at the beginning with you of renovating and developing this property. It is such a fun adventure! Thank you for sharing it with us. Excellent content decisions. Keep going! ❤
Yay! Thank you!
Abby, I liked learning the process of buying a property in France.
The yard looks awesome. I really can envision the people walking around while attending a retreat or painting workshop.
It would be such peaceful endeavor. Thanks for taking me along this awesome journey.
Proud you bought this by yourself
Our family has been watching Chateau videos for about a year and came across your channel. Keep up the great work! We’ll be watching from NJ! Side note: I worked very closely with Aaron at Capco, in fact he was my mentor. Wonderful wonderful human and taught me a lot both professionally and personally!
Oh wow! That's so awesome! Thanks for getting in touch! He was indeed an amazing man! ❤
This is just an incredible journey you are on. Your chateau is beautiful. This video was beyond informative. Can’t wait for the next one.
@ma Cheri’ Anolani I am also from California and I vaguely recall that those bones on Catalina were part of a hoax. But a very cool story nonetheless!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching! :)
What a find. It is fascinating. I’m really enjoying your videos.
UA-cam will add the cc about two hours after the upload.
Thank you for sharing your story and the story of your beautiful new "old" home.
Hello how’re you doing?
Enjoyed listening to the process of buying the château and the history you have discovered. The excellent trimming job really opened all the various “rooms” outside. It feels like the château has been waiting for you! All the best as you move forward!

Well you made it, good job girl. All your hard work has paid off. Good lunck and blessings for you and your channel.

Naoko, thank you for your kind comment! I so appreciate your encouraging words! 😍
Thanks for your story. It was wonderful. Some of the other Chateaus (not sure of area) had some attempted break ins. Suggest you gets a couple of security cameras set up, especially if you will be basically alone there and not close to other people. Safety first. lol
Yeah, it's in the works! Thanks so much.
I agree need security cameras and that electric gate.

Solange
Much happiness to you too! Good luck with your new endeavors whatever they may be! 😊
So excited that you are taking us with you on your adventure. Your home is going to be beautiful! I absolutely love the way your home nestles against the rocks.
What a beautiful home! Wishing you the best and looking forward to seeing you make it your own.
Aww, thank you so much! 😊

Good luck with your search! So fun! 🤩
Abby , I’m so excited for you. Your new home is just fabulous! Thank you for taking us along with you in your journey .
Thank you! Yes, I'm just embarking on the Visa process now. The website I used the most was properties.lefigaro.com/

Thank you! I love that blue too! 😊
Thank you for sharing such a rich history of your Chateau. Looking forward to the next story. ❤

Wonderful updates, and look forward to your next "aventures' with decor, furnishings and the overall property. Sad about the topiary boxwoods blight -- hoping for a good solution to this pesky situation as the topiaries are so much a part of the classic French landscaping history. Your dog is loving this place! 🤗
Yes, fingers crossed for the topiaries. And yes, Chloe loves it here! 😃

Nope, I have a pellet furnace and radiators. I'll be putting the system to the test at the end of the month. Finger's crossed!

Can’t wait to see😊
Yes, I feel very lucky! It's really mostly cosmetic changes. :)
I know! The shaky did me in too. I'll check out the DJI camera. I just got the DJI gimbal thingy which helped a lot! 😃
I know it and I feel it! I think those Daemons are my protectors! 🥰

What a fabulous price for such a beautiful estate. Thank you for sharing. It’s a lot less than I thought
Thanks for the recc... :)
