Hey can we just appreciate the fact that the inside looks just as futuristic as some of the scenes we see of spaceships in movies? Its clean and pretty
@FM D And that was exactly the idea!
Definitely. Reminds me a lot of 2001 Space Odyssey.
@@jj-qq8dg 2001? More like something else
WHAT?
playing Kerbal Space Program, and only ever crashing into the mun, makes me appreciate space flight on a whole other level
mun, what's a mun?
Lenny F it’s either the moon or the sun prolly😂😂

They won’t launch today with that weather
Not gonna lie that suit kinda looks like interstellar suit
The dexterity looks so much more advanced

I’m so glad that I spent almost 2 hours waiting for the spacecraft to launch
There going to do it again Saturday tune in....Lol
johnny mays it’s up!
Safety first mad respect🇺🇸🚀
May engineering and discovery prevail!
the action at 2:37 is riveting. My heart was pounding
Official Statement SPACEX: Standing down from launch today due to unfavorable weather in the flight path. Our next launch opportunity is Saturday, May 30 at 3:22 p.m. EDT, or 19:22 UTC
Right decision. Great day!
That's tight, I'm nervous just looking at them in the cockpit!
The spacesuits looks amazing
I love our astronauts and Nasa/Space X might've avoided a Challenger situation, no doubt if you have a little doubt rearing its head, safety comes first. I want to see Americans blasting off into space on American rocket power, and if i gotta wait til saturday or beyond to have it successfully launch, I will wait. I am stoked
Absolutely.
Sad part is NASA knew better and was warned by Engineering, not to launch.
Regarding the safety of the 2 astronauts Musk said their safety was paramount.
Regarding the safety of 1,000's of his employees at Tesla, its get back to work now or I move the plant.
unfortunate it didn’t happen today, but i understand why they postponed it.
@Commenter2 The CHALLENGER CREW IS ALL ALIVE... Another huge FF..
When is it happening

It's awesome
Sat you guys go light that candle!
That moment when they didn’t launch was iconic

Ao infinito, é além...
They made the right decision for these astronauts! Better to be safe than sorry!!!!!!! Darn weather! But there is always Saturday :D
That's it! Back to Winnipeg!
Hi I have a question for you. More to do with terraforming Mars than to do with this launch though it leads on from this. What would happen if SpaceX and NASA dropped a city sized iceberg on Mars at the point when a dust storm is about to start? Would you make rain instead over the whole planet?
What's the infotainment system like? Does it have a CD player? Or was that an option?
They actually launched Apollo 12 in a storm. They even got hit by lightning (The lightning wend down the flame trail to the ground). The astronauts had to reset the electronic.
But one danger, that Nasa didn't tell the astronauts about because there was nothing they could do about it, was the possibility that the lightning damage the parachute system on the Command module.
lets go again!
you have a beautiful voice, Lauren 😌
i have questions. are they have to stay inside rocket for another 2 days? can they get out and rest inside room? that guys must hurt their back and have numb leg.
Build a space center in Tucson or San Clemente. Always with the stinky Florida weather!
Qqun peu me dire svp pourquoi c annulé, j'ai fait 2 heures à attendre hier et finalement ils ont arrêter tt. Pourquoi?
yeah
It's a fail because of bad weather:(
Space travel will never become a reality for our society in general until these launches can be done economically in all weathers and conditions, just like airlines manage their flights today. I just don't see that happening with the present technology.
It'll be a reality by 2031.
It will take game changing advancements in aerospace and orbital dynamics such as a faster propulsion that would shorten the times between planets and moons. Imagine getting to Mars under a month. Imo, I think that will happen after 2050.
It's interesting how the space suits (or pressure suits) look like Hollywood props from sci-fi movies from the last 20 years.
@Rubedo
Think so?
They normally wear pressure suits in case of a loss of cabin pressure. They need to be conscious if there's an accident, need to abort.
@FM D
If they actually go to the Space Station today. Then it's safe to say they're not fake.
The shuttle astronauts didn't usually wear a pressure suit.
To be honest, they really don't look real.
@Rubedo
LOL
Nobody is saying people went to Mars.
But at least 3 countries are currently capable of putting astronauts in space, US, Russia, and China.
Can you guys say hi to Matt Damon on my behalf?
Definitely. Better to be safe than sorry.
I watched the whole thing just for that
I'm glad it was cancelled, it's going to come over the UK on Saturday night, so I'm hoping to see it 😁
lucky
Thats cool. I hope you do!
Just found out it's lifting off @ 19:22 UTC, so that's 20:22 in the UK. I don't think it will be dark enough to see, we will wait and see 👍
Lille Vladimir sier : Jeg vil bli astronaut og reise til solen. - Men der er det da altfor varmt? - Nei da, jeg skal selvfølgelig reise dit om natten.
What are you doing after the lockdown ? Going into space with a brand new rocket ! 🚀
Weather : Nhan, I don t think so. 🤣
I couldn’t even imagine sitting there watching the entire time just for it to be canceled lol
I'm pretty interested
nice
I was like what is taking so long 🤣
Does this come with 'ludicrous mode'?
Press play!!! Push the big red
Yesterday: history is happing, we're launching America!
Today: Well it was just an attempt you know, and the weather was shitty anyway...
That must be so disappointing! So close to takeoff but conditions aren't safe enough to launch.
Elon, please contact us, we can help.
Wait so what happen? Why didn’t they launch ?
DRACO REALLY!!! DRACO DRAGON WOW
SpaceX it's ok you can launch whenever you want
can someone tell me why rocket exhaust goes from red to white
Google

i was thinking what if you could use bombs as a way to move a space ship. so their was this one test ran by the us and it detonated a bomb underground and at the top was a manhole and the explosion shot the manhole into space and it is travelling at 125,000 miles an hour so couldn't we also then just explode another bomb and it would then go 250,000 miles and so on and we could get super fast the only problem i have is getting enough bombs and that you would have to do this 200,000,000 million times over and over again but we have developed a lot bigger bombs so maybe this idea could maybe be used. if you read this could you tell me if this makes sense or is really stupid.
When they go to Mars could there be like a scouter ship maybe a little drone ship to check the path of travel of the rocket towards Mars to make sure that the path is clear Maybe it could be a couple million feet ahead of this ship so that way the the crew knows what to expect it Landes first right before the ship is due to land as a safe added safety precautions?
And yes im aware that this is the mission to the International space station.
I like the new spacesuit. Is it developed by NASA or Space X?
I'm Calling

Hi
Hi there!

Is that a choo choo plane?!

Since we know that nobody can leave earth i wonder wtf are they doing up there under the dome? Are they repairing the dome from all the cracks that they put in it or are they attaching satellites or satellite receivers for ground based satellites to the dome or what?
Summon all my flatter fellas 🤨
Did anyone else notice that when Musk was asked about scrubbing the launch & how important the safety of the 2 astronauts was, his response was their safety is paramount? This is the same guy that demanded all of his employees at the Tesla plant be ordered back to work with no regard whatsoever for their safety.
Can they eat cocoa icecream in space??? Hahahah😃
These is bring
When will it launch? I'm at the end of video 🙄
It says Attempt in the title... it will launch Saturday 😬

Anyone else notice at 03:01:19 and 03:01:37 the astronauts gave the crew their space x patches off their suits? Is that like a custom or tradition for them to do that?
Yes they do this often
This is what I imagine space flight will look like. Not NASA's version that is slightly better than soviet.
Oh we mortal men(:.
Yo can you take me on the rocket as well? I just enjoy a moment of not being schizophrenia and paranoia
NASA is very cool
Ok
Bet that thing has carbon fiber paddle shifters
Where they going
Ohh I see it was 3yrs ago. Did they get there
What's happening?
Weather conditions prevented the launch today
Wait what
I love nasa
If only NASA had let the capsule be a lander, as SpaceX first designed, instead of a giant parachute toy.
lol who watched this for 3 hours for them not to launch
