I absolutely LOVE using the dark indigo and raw umber (10% and 50%) for quick sketches out and about. Such a beautiful combination. And the green ochre is also a firm favorite. Loved seeing this come together. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Debbie, What pencil sharpeners have you been using with your luminance pencils? I have a Kum automatic long point, but it keeps breaking the wood of my luminance pencils
Hi! That is the one that I use actually. Have you tried changing the blades? Mine was chewing the wood a bit so I bought some replacement blades and it was a game changer. Hope that helps! Deb xx
@@debbievongrabler-crozier2646 Thanks! I'll try changing the blades, but the sharpener is really new, about two months old. Did you notice if your blades get old this fast? By the way, are you using this kum sharpener with your derwent drawing pencils? And do you by any chance have albrecht dürer pencils? Because they are hexagonal it's super hard to find a sharpener for them, the only one that I have that works makes a really short point and I wanted another option for a longer point
I really enjoyed this video! Anyway you could tell us what gouache colors are your favorite? I have a small set of luminance pencils and I do think I will purchase the full set, and I want to have a good basic pallet of gouache to go with it. Thank you again for posting and sharing!

You are most welcome! I love how some colours just speak to us and the strangest combinations work so well! Deb xx
Cool. I will try that.

Time to bring them out! You will love them! Deb xx

finally...the diagnosis... 'full set syndrome' ... yep... no antidote...
Haha- yep it has a name and it is a lifelong and chronic condition- no antidote but a HUGE support group thank goodness! D xx
