It’s the epitome of musical whiplash.
Had only hears this on Spotify. It came up on my gym videos today and I nearly dropped the weights when I realised it was the same dude singing.. My reaction was basically Alex's but with a near miss from a dumbbell.

This song gives major power metal chords and themes and progression. And also the amaranthe song he listened to also had that feel but I’m unfamiliar with the rest of these two bands work so idk if they’re both full power metal but this is pretty cool.
I had tickets to see Beast in Black open for Hammerfall, and then the pandemic happened 🥲. Maybe some day!

You ask “why is this the first time I am hearing this?”. It’s simple. You do rarely react to European bands anymore, I kind of only see American bands on your channel nowadays. You should definitely check out Yannis cover of “ghost live score”. It’s amazing.

Fun fact the vast majority of Beast in Black's music (and pretty much all of From Hell with Love and Berserker) is based on the Berserk anime.
The reason the guy in this video freaked out when she grabbed the necklace and she had dark visions when she found it with the dead face etc. Is that necklace is an artifact from hell in Berserk that basically steals your soul and makes you act without remorse.

Beast in black- Making 80's Metal great again!! One of my greatest discoveries in 2018. Saw them as an opener for nightwish! Freaking fun. The drumer is like animal (from muppets) on speed! and Yannis voice is like cotton candy! Their both records are bangers. Have fun! And I hope you react to more songs of them. Great reaction!

I recommend also to check his vocal cover-songs on his own UA-cam-page, his voice is incredible! 🤘🏻 And other my favorite songs, which I recommend to check, are Beast In Black, Cry Out of A Hero, End of the World.. this band not have any bad song. 😎🤘🏻

Cattle Decapitation is the most influential metal band in the recent years for me. They are insanely talented guys and they are continuously evolving album by album.

Just saw them last weekend. They are AMAZING live. His singing was on point every note. I couldn't believe he hit those notes live. Everyone, go see them, they are FANTASTIC.

Trivia moment. Anton Kabanen (the guitarist and writer brain behind BiB) was one of the founders of Battle Beast, and when they had their musical disagreements (or whatever happened) he wandered off and basically started Beast in Black, which I guess is where he really wanted to take Battle Beast. The Berserk obsession is still there, for sure.
Essentially, I treat them as two divergent timelines of the same band.
