Sark wasn't going to pull Ewers during his last regular season home game as long as Ewers could be a game manager and not lose the game for Texas. Why? So he could keep Ewers draft stock from falling even further by showcasing his "toughness" playing through the pain. Not a big risk to get him seriously hurt because OL was holding up and even if Ewers got hurt, got a Manning to take over.
@@philmorris8862 He was not INJURED he was hurting. There is a difference. Sark has said over and over he does not believe in having TWO QB's playing. The starter is the starter. Quinn is the starter and he has done OK. Had the fumble and probably because he could not move much. In the first half he made some throws and some plays that an average QB does not make. The first TD was because of his experience.
@@JoeyAustin-ul1qb It is not about "draft stock" it is about showing the team he knows Quinn can get the job done. Goes for QB as well as all other positions. Coach is telling the entire team if you are getting the job done I got your back and we are not going to listen to all the outside noise.
Defense was great. But. let's be honest, Special teams has taken a couple steps back. Not sure if we need coaching help or what, but if not addressed it could cost a championship.
@@kennethcasaday-f9q My big issue with Special Teams is the Punt Team. We need an upgrade at punter. Auburn will be fine as kicker and will come thought, not a worry there.
No you don't. That's what you want, it's not best for the team. As the saying goes "if you have two QB's, you have none." Sark is not about to pull Quinn unless injured. He was dinged up.
I loved Mo Blackwell blowing up the olineman, assisting on the fourth down play.
I believe Sark is doing his best to get Ewers drafted as high as possible…even though he knows Ewers is limited…
Exactly.
Agreed
Bolden should not have fielded the punt inside our 5 yard line.
I love Bolden, but he shouldn't be returning punts. He's been playing with fire back there all year.
That comes in the Offensive grades podcast
Why would you keep Ewers in? Why risk him getting seriously hurt if your just gonna hand the ball off?
Crazy to keep Ewers in while injured. Sark evidently made some deal with Ewers to get him to come back this year.

Bc every time Arch goes in, it stirs the pot on a national level

Bert miss hit that last field goal.

I think the secondary just got a bit cocky on a few plays but no true concerns
Two big plays and one help them get the TD. No other damage from the Kentucky offense. Even a great defense will have a bad play from time to time.
Bert has issues on the right hashmarks
Bert needs to be more consistent beyond 30. His misses are not even close. Punting is what worries me.
@ punting has been horrible this year
Need to at least have packages for Arch.

@lingerinlead80421 he's injured
He has a sprained ankle.@@lingerinlead80421
How about the rest of this team . They may be knocked out of playoffs, because of coaches obsession with Ewers. Its frustrating.
Quinn is the best QB on the roster. Sark knows what he's doing.
@drm2364 I wouldn't be the only one that believes Quinn is not the best option.
