It’s why I tune in every day. 2) i think 95% of the people who comment aren’t being mean or insulting you, but giving you a little postgame analysis to help you become a better player. For instance just as an observation, there are games where you build a 2nd or 3rd city but then lose army and that costs you a game. That’s not being mean. It’s just an observation meant to help you. It’s also easier to see these moves sitting here not under a timer and not having to make split second decisions
100% agree and I love the postgame analysis I am mainly talking about 1-2 people where every single comment they have ever made on this channel has been negative 😂

Don't take our sh*t talk personally, you're clearly better than any of us. You have a high risk, high reward play style that clearly works. Sometimes that means you leave yourself open, and those of us who don't play so risky are just yelling at our screens about it when it doesn't pay off for you lol. Great games today!
Phantom is my favorite Catan UA-camr and infinitely more experienced than I am. But we can call a spade a spade too. When you dig too much into high risk you end up making lots of high risk no reward plays too, and I think those are fair to call out. I also find this to be a bit more feedback defensive a channel than any other streamer too. End of the day some people are just assholes but most of us are nerding out about strategy.

I enjoy reading the opinions of other followers' critics, they are not mean at all and add points of discussion or thinking. Let them be, they bring colour to your matches
I love these 1V1 videos! I’ve also noticed recently that people are being mean in the comments, and that will probably only increase the more you grow your channel, unfortunately. But keep up the great work! I love your style of gameplay, and you seriously are a good player. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes
Hey Phantom, sorry if some of my previous comments rubbed you the wrong way; wasn't meant as harsh criticism, more as an invitation to comment on your plays in post-game analysis. The first game this video I for example feel like starting 10 9 6, and 9 5 10, run towards the 10 8 sheep port would be a good play. You'd both start without ore, but you'd get there way sooner with better production and ports to boot. What do you think?

Your videos are amazing man, if you start doubting yourself and listening to what trolls are saying about your play style you are no longer yourself. Follow your gut! High risk high reward

For the first game how about 1096R threatening plough then 9510L towards best ore. Does he defend the plough? If so all the ore is yours and you can hammer the 5 brick.
First gsme what about 9 6 10 and then 9 5 10 down to 8 ore. Too slow? Or 6 3 4 up to wheat port and 8 10 5 down counting on plow for even more wheat. Sometimes you can go no ore with production and ports.

Yeah 9/5/10 8/5/3 is the real play but I didn't have enough time to fully assess the board and I panicked with 5 seconds left
