The worst thing about this is you can't even blame Kutcher for being terrible at impersonating Gibson. He simply, physically does not have the voice to do it. There's no amount of effort that would have turned his whiny teenager voice into a man's voice. Whoever planned this was the one who fucked up, failure was a foregone conclusion.

Good news. Despite your concern, I've found that I can, and indeed do blame Kutcher for his horrible impression. Try it, it's not as hard as you may have initially thought.

I'm not sure what Kutcher was doing, but the skit has an excellent point about "Edge of Darkness" and almost all other Gibson film, really. They're literally all the same.
