The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of whatever the hell Dan will make next! The eyes turned out especially great!
lovecraft said that, and i think lovecraft knows a little more about horror then you do pal because he invented it! and then he perfected it so that no living man can best him in the art of dread *unholy screaming*
"Not Hell, but is like Hell..." - Does your book come from Basildon..? Back-Ribs, isn't that where the Man-Bacon comes from..? Super funny video Dan. Well worth the hard work. Those eyes are quite a thing. Never seen them done that way.
You never cease to amaze. That "Don't neglect the back" sting... [chef's kiss]. Only to top it with a licomscribe sting??? You are a man of many talents.
I just noticed something really cool. Maybe it was just the camera but the way the gold in the eyes reflected the light before the pupils were added kind of reminded me of how a predator's eyes reflect light.
Another fantastic journey in to the Dan Does Eldritch Universe (I like to imagine that the environment looks like the Telly Tubbies land, but with more claws, eyes and intestines). It is nice to see that Mr Does is feeling better.
Wonderfully done, Dan! I can't stop looking at the teeth! Not only because you did them so well, but the sheer happiness of the smile really is disconcerting when you see what it's attached to! Excellent nightmare fuel, as always!
I must admit, the revelation that the evil monster from another world sounds like Bernard Manning did surprise me, but I suppose it shouldn't, and to be fair it does explain a lot.
The background music makes me think of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home," but jazzed up. Regardless, another entertaining episode. Hope we see more Rose and Vi soon.
His mouth is so CUTE!!!!! The eyes are fantastic.. That glossy light-reflecting yellow is so perfect. I love Beetlejuice, so I've got no beef that he started out looking similar to that cool sculpture. In my mind... forgive the morbid description.. this is what happens when one of those centipede horses start melting to the bone and the chompers are almost all that's left..the skin slides off and starts forming bubbling heat vents and it spills out all of it's third (to 45th) eyes.. you see that the hooves are actually long pointy claws. Great call on the black nails, btw. It looks even creepier and tied it all together better than basic translucent white. I am always so excited to see what you'll create next! (No pressure, no rush.)
Ha! Btw, to grow your channel (and of course you don't need to heed my advice) take advantage of youtube shorts! I saw you did a sneak preview of your last upcoming creation as a community post (still photo + text), and as far as I know, CPs only reach your current subscribers... Right now, I know for a fact, that youtube shares out shorts to random viewers + subscribers.. I shared a 10 secondish post of an obscure looking birthday cake and it randomly got 1.3k views in an hour (clicks due to thumbnail curiosity) So, I recommend instead of a still, do more shorts... a 5-10 second teaser of your upcoming projects, or even a few, will lead to more people finding your channel : )
OH MY GOODNESS, once again, you made tuna baked potato fly from my nose with the haemorrhoid joke. Fantastic model making, you are a talented dude. Thanks for making dinnertime interesting. Love the show.
I like that both the eyes and the grin are equally creepy and goofy. Like, you might laugh a little bit when this monster approaches... And then it eats you any way.
"As you once did for the vacuous Rom, grant us eyes, grant us eyes. Plant eyes on our brains, to cleanse our beastly idiocy." - Bacon Bond, Bloodborne (2015)
Welcome back, Dan. Bloody brilliant. This creature should be proud of his handsome smile. I love the coral-like pipes on his back, whatever they are. Glad you didn't neglect those.
Really cool stuff! You have a talent for the horrific, the UV resin at the end made it so slimy and gross looking in the best way. xD The intro was super funny as well, it made me laugh. I hope you dont get too tired of people talking about Bill but i would love to see you guys swap. You host a episode of Bill making stuff building a robot and he hosts an episode of Dan does making some kind of monstrosity and not acknowledge that anything is different at all. swap clothes and glasses and all xD Just confuse people even more.
there so much theatrics behind this stuff man, god i love it! can't think of another hobby painter that prefaces their stuff with like little narratives and stuff, so neat!
Hey u might want to try pva glue and super glue it creates little dry webbing and if u use to much it becomes little slugs. It all looks fleshy and horrible so perfect for ur style
I do enjoy this monster. It is nice to see what sort of creatures come out of other people's laboratories/sick, twisted minds. I have decided that, since you did not name this creature in this video, its name is Sam. And, I must encourage you Dan, to remind Sam to thank his parents (Eugenia and Myron) for his lovely teeth. An afterthought: I hope Sam never needs the use of corrective lenses. Eyeglasses would be quite expensive. Perhaps he would consider contact lenses? Anyway....Good video. Keep them coming. Thanks.
Bacon Bond is the bacon scented generic variety, yeah? I had to stop buying that one. I kept running out before I even used it. I love that sketchbook (and the sketch of course)! You really brought it to life and those eyes are awesome! Great sculpt and video, man! Licomscribed!
Look like it could be a super heavy for your army you’ve been making. The “piping” in the rear😅 could pump out a poisonous miasma. Would like to see some more on those. You could try to do some fast attack ones next or some big bruisers. Just a thought.
Another great video, thank you. I can't believe how good your skills are given how short a time you've been doing this. How do you start designing a monster? Do you just draw an odd shape and start from there?
That mouth gets real freaky after the eyes go in. Like, before the eyes, I was all “why not fangs?” And after the eyes, “nope, fangs not necessary” and “what is it smiling about?”
It's vile. Disgusting. As creepy as all hell. An eldritch abomination which should be lurking in a subterranean vault beneath a decaying mansion in New England somewhere. The sort of place that names like Olney, Curwen, Marsh and Whately, are talked of in hushed whispers. That kind of place. It's a horrid, nameless thing you made, and I love it.
It looks like something from a SF horror. The astronaut has developed a nasty skin condition after his protective gear tears an experiment. He picks at it and starts to peel back the skin and this is what's underneath. I do not thank you for enabling that thought.
See here in the US we do t have to say it’s ok for dudes to pretend to be ladies. Lol cause it’s not… it’s more like a puts the lotion on its skin type thing no matter what they say lmao.

Mmmmm pomegranate
I missed what you called that book. The Knickknacknomicon?
I really enjoy the way that you carefully sculpt things and then cover your work with something else.
Usually ruining it
