Thanks a lot, David! It is astounding, how systematic and comprehensive your talks are, how articulate and to the point your instructions! Your manner, is so pleasant, warm and humorous, that I don't feel only well instructed, but also cheered and enlivened by watching them. They have enhanced both my playing and teaching, and become a lasting resource to revisit. The ever changing ambience is very amusing at times: rumbling to St. Petersburg, the airplane toilet...priceless! A Big Thank You !
Hey David I just wanted to say I just watched your 99 Cello talks... On my way to 100. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Since I was a child I've always learned and created music by ear.. And I want to do the same with the cello. These videos have given me a great starting point!! As many people here also feel, even though we have not met I feel you are a mentor and a friend. I hope some day we will be able to jam. I live in Red Deer, If your ever in Calgary again let me know!
i'm just a beginner, but i'm glad i found your videos early on! please continue to update us with your news and travels and an occasional music piece! thank you for all your work
Well said David,I have only been playing for 2 months and I am enjoying your lessons.I turn 60 this year so its kinda neat that your lessons are not a bottomless pit! I had my first 'human' lesson today and felt assured by your lessons and my past enthusiasm for music generally.I look forward to going over your lessons- although I will probably just be a lone player , miles away from any stage. And hey, stay away from buses.........
