DAY 11 | Building My Dream House | Walkthrough

yayyyy for the foundations - it is gonna be MASSSSSIVE omg - question from me: Where is the man hole cover ? how are you managing around it ? this is looking fabulous already

Thank you Claire for the comment and question! It is going to be huge!
The manhole is located at the front garden of the property. So luckily there’s no issues in the rear side of the house. I got quite lucky with that otherwise it would have been a nightmare managing around it.
Amazing question, and hats off to you. Not many people know the struggle of this. Have you done something similar before?

@Omar4li found our manhole - underneath the kitchen floor 🙈🙈🙈 the extension was built back in the 80s with full planning permission to 'build over' insanity 🙈🙈 no idea what we would do if pipes got blocked . 🙈🙈 it's frowned upon now .. but looks like anything goes back in the 80s 🤣🤣

Oh wow that is wild. I pray you have no issues, or maybe the kitchen will need to get removed to fix 😱. Planning were a lot easier then I assume, now they are extremely picky. Our plans took around 6 months to get accepted. We also now have building control who regularly come out to check in. The regulations are tough now, and even neighbours can be hard to deal with at times
