Hey there, welcome to my vlog!
Join me for the dream house build update.
In this vlog I update you all on what the builders have been working on. The wall gaps are bigger now. Some walls are slowly going too. More exposure of the ceiling to identify where the original steel beams were. Rear walls are up to first floor, and ready for next steel beams to be placed on ground floor.
I was flying my drone and hit a tree. I lost a few wings and I’m really sad.

Dayyum! The whole thing is a proper construction site now. 26 steel beams! Wow. Just puts into perspective how big the project actually is.
Exactly right! It’s going to be huge and the steel need to be perfect for the house to have strength. When the walls go for the open plan it will look incredible! Hope you are enjoying!

Please keep going with the videos. Really enjoy watching the house develop into your dream home. We are also shortly about to start a complete renovation project on a house we brought after looking for a house for several years. It’s very similar to yours but in the midlands. Just wondering on the cost of this project. Would be good if you could a rough estimate on how much it will cost.
Thank you so much for your comment! So glad it’s being enjoyed and helping others too. Sounds very similar to me. I was searching for around 5/6 years and finally found ‘the one’. I knew I see a big project when I came across this house. The cost goes up and down but i will make a future video of the estimates costs and actual. I have to be very careful with money on here as you can imagine but will touch on this topic! If you want any advice you can also contact me on my socials (TikTok/instagram)

yayyyy for the foundations - it is gonna be MASSSSSIVE omg - question from me: Where is the man hole cover ? how are you managing around it ? this is looking fabulous already
Thank you Claire for the comment and question! It is going to be huge! The manhole is located at the front garden of the property. So luckily there’s no issues in the rear side of the house. I got quite lucky with that otherwise it would have been a nightmare managing around it. Amazing question, and hats off to you. Not many people know the struggle of this. Have you done something similar before?
@Omar4li found our manhole - underneath the kitchen floor 🙈🙈🙈 the extension was built back in the 80s with full planning permission to 'build over' insanity 🙈🙈 no idea what we would do if pipes got blocked . 🙈🙈 it's frowned upon now .. but looks like anything goes back in the 80s 🤣🤣
Oh wow that is wild. I pray you have no issues, or maybe the kitchen will need to get removed to fix 😱. Planning were a lot easier then I assume, now they are extremely picky. Our plans took around 6 months to get accepted. We also now have building control who regularly come out to check in. The regulations are tough now, and even neighbours can be hard to deal with at times

Hi, of course you may and thank you for the comment. I have a few businesses. I have a financial advisory business and also a property portfolio. This is the biggest move I have done to date. I want to try get some videos of financial planning, mortgage brokers etc that will help people understand the property market. Let me know if you’d be interested in this stuff.
