To always keep your word, to give Sen. Snowe top billing, to recognize that a person with whom you are working at the end of the day love our country as much as you do is a quiet legacy. I miss seeing people at least trying to their utmost lead by example. He battled alchoholism and all the horribly painful ramifications of that disease, but he served, and prepared for his work tirelessly. Nothing could make up for Chappaquidick but not serving in the Senate and helping his fellow Americans have a better life and hiding away from the world was not an answer either.
Maybe the family found my letter that I wrote to Senator Kennedy as a little girl in Monnrovia. Liberia. He was going to run for President Of U. S. A.
