Hi… I was really excited to see this video as I often unsuccessfully fish at beach Blvd bridge (next to the boat club or opposite side boat ramp..I live between the beach bridge and the pier). I don’t have a boat or kayak, but curious if you had recommendations for land fishing spots around jax? I’m also mid binge of your videos and considering seriously trying surf fishing ie investing in a 11 ft rod and 6k reel.
Thanks for watching the vid! I'm not sure about all of Jax, but Hechsher Drive on the north side of the river is a great start. there are plenty of bridges and other spots to fish. It sounds like you live in Jax Bch, and we're already catching nice whiting (last night's dinner). The surf fishing is going to get fun in the next month. You don't have to use a surf rod to catch surf fish. Learn how to throw a cast net, because the mullet run is just starting, and they are great bait. Also, the Jax Bch pier is producing pretty good when the water is clear. have fished the pier yet?

Nice video cap. Nice mix bag. I saw your comment on Wes Lovelace. New Subscriber from Miami 🎣🚤🎏🌝 tight lines
Thanks! I subbed to you about a month ago, and have enjoyed watching you and your son fish together
Glad to see you utilizing the side scan. It's great out to about 80' for finding structure.
It'll be a great tool when I get better at reading it.
A steady stream of Specks and Mangoes.....Can't beat a tasty shrimp dinner!!
Yep, burned through those shrimp pretty fast.
New subscriber here. I fish under beach quite a bit. Great mango spot with some good summer time snook!
I have a friend that fishes under there a lot, and he tells me the same thing about the snook...that's pretty cool! Thanks for subbing 👍
Nice video I enjoyed it.
Thank you
