I just bought this model and it’s easy to navigate versus the others I’ve had. I like that I can tell it to save a video instead of trying to hit a button to save which takes my eyes off the road. Love that I can monitor via my phone when I’m parked too. So far, it was worth the $240 I paid for it!
This video was very helpful. One way to add more benefit is to include details not available from the Garmin page, like whether the charging ports are USB-A or USB-C and the length of the charging cables. My vehicle does not have a cigarette lighter port but it does have USB-A so that is why it would help to know. Also the length of the provided charging cable helps me determine if I need to buy the extra long charging cable in advance.

@@Baddonation22 the solution is this Garmin 67W dosen't have that 3 to 5 minute recording intervals like other dash cameras do. Great question! According to Garmin's website: "The Parking Guard feature allows the camera to record video automatically while your vehicle is parked. When you turn off your vehicle, the camera automatically enters parked recording mode. The camera automatically records video each time it detects an incident, and sends a notification to your smartphone when the camera is connected to a Wi‑Fi® network. You can manage Parking Guard settings from the Garmin Drive™ app on your smartphone." Another article goes on to explain the various Parking Guard settings: Parking Guard Settings Select Up arrow > Parking Guard > Settings. Enable Enables or disables the Parking Guard feature. Auto Start Sets the amount of time the vehicle must remain still before the camera turns on the Parking Guard feature. Impact Sensitivity Adjusts the sensitivity level for incident detection while the Parking Guard feature is active. Monitoring Time Sets the amount of time the Parking Guard feature remains active before it turns off. Run on Battery Sets the Parking Guard feature to use the camera battery if an external power source is not connected. NOTE: If you touch the camera while the Run on Battery setting is enabled, it may turn on unexpectedly when it detects motion. Record Before Incident Sets the device to record 15 seconds before incidents are detected. You must connect your camera to an external power source to use this option.
I have a Garmin for GPS that was. purchased about 3 years ago. I never noticed if it has a dash cam on it. Does it? Also, since it has been several years since it was purchased is it still ok to use or if it does have a dash cam would the recording and resolution be high enough?

Also, the parking guard goes off a lot at night but the night vision is very poor. My cars cheap lane change cameras are 10x better at night then this camera.
I believe you have the option to turn the parking guard feature off, if it is a nuisance at night. We always disconnect our camera from power after driving in order to save space on our data card. If you keep it on all night, be aware, that it will rewrite over your footage from the day so be sure to download anything important from the day that you want to save first.
Does anyone know what the default password for the 67W is for wifi. I thought it was 12345678. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm having trouble connecting to wifi.

Dash cams need to be side view too
I have a Garmin for GPS that was. purchased about 3 years ago. I never noticed if it has a dash cam on it. Does it? Also, since it has been several years since it was purchased is it still ok to use or if it does have a dash cam would the recording and resolution be high enough?

Huh? You should not be taking your eyes off the road to push buttons on your phone.
I have the 67w and image quality is not good at all. I have older dash cameras with much better image quality.

More than 10 minutes repeating the text from the box, and 8 seconds of actual footage from the cam. Useless review. Nothing but clickbait.
Does anyone know what the default password for the 67W is for wifi. I thought it was 12345678. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm having trouble connecting to wifi.
