So happy to see people, especially visitors, enjoying Barkley Sound. It's rarely visited by boats from Victoria, let alone California. It took me two, two-week trips (separate summers) to feel I'd been to most of the great anchorages. 'Fogust' is a well-used term here... July can be better for the west side of the island. Thanks for the video.
Fantastic! Your best yet…More please! Would love to see a video about how your boat is equipped for these trips (safety, nav, electronics), camping gear you take and how you do food prep….
Looks really good. Well done and your narration was excellent. Enjoyed very much. I was thinking you have a great voice, then read you info... your voice is great. You are making me miss my Monty.... Maybe after my land travels are done... hmmm
wtf you have a great voice for narrating, looks like a great trip, thanks for sharing! I worked for INF out of Bishop in the '95, lots of good memories from that, still have a mug from the Grill (not sure if that's even still there).
Nice video, David. I have M15, 1985. Is it usual to see water inside at stern of the boat while on water. I could not find any sign of exterior crack. Never the less, storage box on the cockpit was cut open. This is only way that water can get inside. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks for the comment. On our boat we don't see water inside anywhere at the stern. We sometimes get a little water up into the front of the cockpit up through the drain, but that is about it. I find excellent resources to be the the Montgomery Boats Email List and also the Montgomery Facebook group. I'd suggest posing Montgomery questions at those places. Generally speaking I find the responses I get when I pose a question in both are excellent. Best of luck!
Fantastic Trip! It's fun to see a trailerable sailboat out enjoying the big water. Thank you for sharing.
Beer , AND , Sailing ! you are living the Life . Well Done !

Thanks. Good idea. I may just do that...
Great trip, nice documentary. Thank you.
Thanks, Phil!
Another great video, a beautiful spot for some sailing.
Beautiful Adventure David what a beautiful and great destination...
Thanks for sharing David, once again you have provided me inspiration for a trip which is relatively in my back yard!
Thanks Jason! It was a good trip.
Narrating voice good. (We always think our own voice sounds odd.). Nice to see this area of BC, and to see a trailer sailer in action.

Thanks, Joe! The Bishop Grill was next to Amigos Mexican restaurant. It is now El Ranchito, a Mexican restaurant, still next door to Amigos...
Cool vid. Next time check out desolation sound.
